Unauthorized charge of $399.00 for anti- virus protection that was not ordered. Caller's name was"Jack E", supposed t5o be some type of manager. I was supposed to call within 24hrs to receive a refund, the call was time stamped by my phone as 6/24/2020 @ 12:53 PM. The number on my caller ID was 910-778-5239 which I called only to get a busy signal. I will be notifying my bank tomorrow to refuse this charge.

3:55PM. I received a voice mail on the home phone from V Tech Solutions. The message said they are going to charge my card for an upcoming renewal of antivirus software. The amount is $399 and will be charged within the next 24 hours unless I call 230-941-3688 with in the next 8 hours if I do not want to continue the software. They said my account number is 9W610EASY. I will not return the call and I have never done business with them. The Relationship manager is, Steven Nelson. It sounded like a robocall and was had to hear the name. I have notified my bank.

I rec'd a voice message from a company (502-443-7907) called "V Tech" telling me I was going to have a charge of $399.00 added to my charge card within 24 hours. If I wanted to cancel or receive a refund, I needed to notify them within 48 hours of the phone call. I was to call "1-209-883-6206" to cancel my subscription. The message was supposedly left by someone named Desi Martin, Customer Service Manager.

Vtech Solutions advised me of $399 charge for AntiVirus Security software yearly subscription renewal, which I didn't have nor want. They left a voice mail on my home phone, and when I called them back from the different local number they called from it was a Carrollton KY cell number and was a non-working Number (As I suspected it would be a scam) but they left a voicemail with a different contact number for “Cancellation” of the subscription renewal within 48hrs and instructions for me to call: 2039007380 Shane Wilson Customer Relationship Manager.

I received a phone call with an electronic voice saying I was being charged $399 for anti virus protection unless I called to cancel in next 48 hours. The number given was different from the number called. I have never purchased any anti viral protection other than Norton...this is a total scam. The number I was supposed to call back was different from the caller ID number.

Returned the call the # given No answer so hung up not 2 minutes later Dennis Wilson who left the message is calling back. He was told to cancel the antivirus. He said I needed to turn on my computer so the antivirus could be removed he was told the computer was not being turned on. Told him that I would contact the BBB and my states legal system to report this. He hung up on me. 03276

Robocall from spoofed Missouri phone number. Recording was cut off at beginning left on my answering machine stating a charge of some amount ($?99) was being assessed to me. From other complaints in the last few days it was probably saying $399 was being charged. The computer generated text to speech voice claiming to be "Michael ******, the manager" announced that I needed to call him at ************ within 48 hours to cancel the subscription.

I have not had any contact with this company. It is probably also a stolen company name and definitely a scam in attempt to acquire money from the contact in hopes of acquiring a bank number or some other personal information to use in some other nefarious act.

I did not call the number and although I might enjoy talking to Michael ****** personally, it didn't even remotely sound like him; an obvious false name too.

Got a voicemail from 210-698-9634, stated that they were Vtech Solutions and they were going to charge over $300 to my charge card for virus protection! Also stated that If I didn't cancel this charge within 48 hours, that the charge will be completed without cancellation!

April 27, 2020 - Message from V-tech Solutions left on landline stating I am being charged $399 for antiviral security and that I need to call back within 24-48 hours to cancel and get refund. Message was left from Shawn M., customer relations manager. Do not know this company and have not ever done business with this company.

I received a call today from VTEC Solutions at 11:33 AM(MST). They left a voice mail saying that I will see a charge from them and if I wanted to cancel the subscription and want a refund to call them at 1-231-559-0095 within 48 hours upon receiving this confirmation call. The message said this is Ryan Johnson customer relationship manager.

I did not order a subscription. The call came across on my phone as spam. I did not answer but they left a voice mail which I seen later after I had deleted the recent call information.

I received a call from a David Thomas telling me to call beck and cancel or I will be chareged $399. by V-Tech for anti virus protection. I did not cal back. I kept the message on my answering machine. I do not now how they will charge me the money.

Left message they were charging me $399. for virus protection. I have not ordered any such service from them. Told me I had 48 hrs to cancel coverage. Gave # to call (see above) and ID'd himself as David Thompson, Cust. Relations Mgr. This is a scam I'm sure and it is infuriating! Please shut them down. I'm checking my CR. CARD info just in case and notifying my bank.

Says that they are charging $399 to credit card and to call back with a different number but never did work with this company. Scam sounds like all the other folks. Really despicable given what everyone is dealing with with the virus to do this now.

Received a voicemail indicating that Vtech was going to charge $399 to my credit card and if I didn't want that to happen to call.  The story is exactly the same as the other complaints about Vtech on your site which is why I didn't detail.  I didn't call back because I don't owe them anything, googled Vtech and the phone number and all the complaints called up.  I don't exactly know how the scam works because I didn't want to have contact with them but you have that detail from others.  It is particularly despicable that folks do this any time but to do it now when someone will answer that bogus call and lose precious money.
