A person claiming to be looking for my niece due to failing to appear in court and threatening of consequences if failed to appear at the next court date, they asked me for her personal contact information and address claiming they would come looking for her at my residence. I have no contact with my niece or her whereabouts so their claim that she listed my home as her last place of residence was inaccurate as she would not know where I live as I have absolutely no contact with her.

I received a call from at 4:35 pm. I didn't answer at first because I receive a lot of scammers or annoying calls from solicitation for police, firemen, and other organizations. I try to block the numbers but they get a new number, many times the same person asks, not for me but for my husband. I block the number and they try again. I have new doctors and insurance so I try to answer some calls because they could be important calls from businesses. I didn't answer the call but whoever called hung up and left a voice message. I have a semi translator on my voice mail and they suggested that I call them to cancel something. I should have known it was a scam, because I haven't ordered anything since lately. I returned the call and a male got on the line and stated I owed 300 dollars because a subscription I had was being canceled. I told him I don't have any subscription, we argued for a few minutes with my husband looking at me in disbelief. This person told me if I didn't call them back and cancel (I don't know what!) I would be charged no less than $20. I told him I would pay nothing and would contact better business bureau and if I see charges on any of my accounts, I would file charges against them . I photo graphed time the call came and the voice mail that was left to me. I am sooo tired of this harassment. thanks if you can help me.

The business called and said they worked for a cruise line and asked can you hear me ok. After I said yes, the phone hung up.

I had a lady give me a number to call so I called and apparently they have said that I owe the hospital a lot of money, and what really got me was when they got my birthday wrong so I kind of knew what was up, they were trying to get my social security number from me and I never gave them anything. I would like this matter to resolve because this has happened to me before.

In received two phone calls on two separate dates from (815)402-3768 and (815)403-3758. A threatening voicemail was left, using a bunch of legal terms in the wrong context. Apparently someone is being sued. The gave no name who they were calling for and gave no company name. Threatened to issue a "ticket to appear via a courier to my place of employment or resident", not residence. The same recorded voicemail was left on both occasions. Anyone know the company name for these numbers? A Google search gave two different business names, North Coast Recovery and Associates and North Crest Phoenix and Associates.

I purchased VISA gift cards from a grocery store that turned out to be fakes. I inspected them very carefully before I purchased them. They were sealed in the packaging and there were no visible signs that the packaging was tampered with. However, once the packages were opened by their recipients they turned out to be a photo of a VISA card glued onto to a calling card.

Lyed and said my Grandson was locked up.

The color did not include the name of their company. They just said my vehicle warranty was going to be ending today, and I needed to purchase a new vehicle warranty . I said why? My coverage isn’t up. My vehicle warranty is good for 12,000 more miles. Then they hung up on me. When I tried to call back, it said the number was not in service .

I got a call tonight from 902-701- 8034 , caller said Is this a real person? I said yes before I could think, she sais thank you and hung up.

Once my husband said "yes", the person hung up.

The person called and was trying to get my information, and when I asked her to verify who she was she ended the call. All I needed was some more information on who it was, it was a real call. Called the number back no one answered and it was late.

A person identifying himself as Alex texted he was interested in a car I had posted on Craigslist. He asked me to access premiumautoreport.com to provide title information. I told him I wasn't familiar with that website and that it wasn't listed among other car reporting sites like Carfax. I gave him the vin#. He asked if I had even visited the site yet. I told him I wasn't comfortable doing so. I didn't hear from him again. I checked the ScamPulse.com website and it described a scam very much like the experience I just had.

I believed I was scammed to record my voice saying “yes”. I received a called asking for me by name. thiswas not a recorded message, but a live person. I replied “Yes”, and then the call immediately disconnected.

I received a robo call from *** ***. I did not answer the call. It went straight to voicemail. The voicemail was an automated system that said "There has been an identity theft. Before we take legal action against you, you must call ***." According to my phone, the call came from Nevada City, CA. I immediately moved this number to my blocked call list on my cell phone.

Received a call from a Lori Grant (606) 802-7971 (very short ring then went to voicemail) she said it was regards to a complaint notice to your attention. And that I need to call 844-793-1304 to update my address and contact info. After the 3rd attempt they would contact my HR or department responsible for payroll in an attempt to garnish my wages. She never said what company organization they were calling from. She said that this was an attempt to collect on an account that had been closed over 10 years, and that there was no statue of limitations on this account.

Texas’ four-year statute of limitations on debts works alongside the Texas Debt Collection Act. The limited time period means that debt collectors cannot sue individuals in an attempt to collect debts that are more than four years past due.

They threatened me with civil court and wage garnishment, and stating that they will contact HR at my current employment.

After all this, I still don't know who these people are. They have my personal information (SSN, birth date, name etc.)

Now I have to report ID theft with the police dept, FTC ID theft dept, and freeze my 3 credit bureau reports.

an automated phone message left on my phone saying my social security number was being used for criminal activity and legal enforcement would take place if i didn't talk to them then they would proceed with there legal proceedings. I intend to call back and tell them i am reporting them to the ScamPulse.com and the FCC after i have done so.
