My wife and I attempted to place airline tickets through finnair on the website travelandreservations.com. We believed we were calling finnair customer support. They told us they were booking our flights and took our details and payment information. They said that the payment would come in installments and would show up separately. The first payment was for some 1400 dollars and change, totaling over $1400 lost. They called and emailed me from [email protected] the next day saying that the payment didn't go through. It was at this time I got a red flag and googled the information in the email and found that the number in that email was listed under a scam. We shut off the card and submitted a request through our bank for a return of the funds, but we have not heard back from them yet.
