My father received one of these documents in the mail. It has the seal of The Federal Savings Bank. However, I got suspicious because my father has never bank with this savings bank. They try to make the document look official. I hope people do not fall for this scam.

I received mail from "The Federal Savings Bank" informing me that my VA Loan Waiting Period was complete and that I have not accessed my equity reserves of "$3,778,78 or other loan benefits."

The mail then requested I call 844-912-2004 by 28 December 2018 to receive a detailed explanation of the benefits and how to access them.

I called the number, a lady answered after a lot of rings, and said "They had no one available at the moment but if I gave her my number she would have someone contact me." I left my work number, which is a government facility, and have not received a phone call yet. I hope they call so I can explore this more, but I really doubt the VA, who I executed with a different bank, is sending me random mailer with options to pull out equity from banks I don't use.

Also, the Mail was made to look like it came from my municipal government.
