This "company" sent me a very threatening letter, claiming that a lien had been placed on "my" property, and that the property would be seized if I didn't call them by a particular date. When I told the person I first spoke with that I don't even own the property in question, she said, "That doesn't really matter, does it?" She then proceeded to hang up on me. Since I am unaware of any delinquent tax debt, I called back. The second individual I spoke with also hung up on me. I was finally able to get a third individual to admit that the letter was just a marketing ploy to get me to talk to a law firm. How can this possibly be legal???!!!

Received a letter from Tax Processing Group Internal Processing Service San Juan County Public Judgement Records with the address 1030 N Center PKWY Kennewick, WA 99336. Stating Filed in San Juan County with a filing number. Final Demand For Payment For Non Payment Of Taxes To The State of New Mexico. State of New Mexico has attempted to collect the overdue above debt which has not been paid. You must call 800-246-7074 by 2/20/2024. The State of New Mexico will seize this property for nonpayment of taxes, penalties, and interest due to the State.

They are saying State of NM will cease this property due to lack of payment. I have a payment arrangement with the State of NM. Called local San Juan County Clerk and they do not have a record of a case being filed. I believe this is a scam. Please keep me informed. I tried to get them to take me off their list (by phone), but they were very threatening towards me.

Received a notice that says in big bold letters "Company name" YOUR PROPERTY WILL BE SEIZED. FINAL DEMAND FOR NONPAYMENT OF TAXES TO THE FEDERAL TAX AUTHORITIES. The top of the page implies it is from the county in which we are located. It says, "Tax Processing Group, Internal Processing Service, County Name, Public Judgement Records. The Federal Tax Authorities has attempted to collect the overdue above debt which has not been paid. You must call (800) 226-0567 by 2/1/2024. The Federal Tax Authorities will seize this property for nonpayment of taxes, penalties, and interest due to the State. (note it says State for a Federal issue). This is an attempt to prey on unsuspecting companies.
