I received a call yesterday stating that I had a judgement against me in my county. Said that it was past the credit stage and was a legal matter now. I asked if I could do some research bc I had never gotten a payday loan/title loan and she said if I hung up the phone, she would mark my account as non-compliant and my county would issue a BOL and take me in. Then I would need to bring $4500.00 to my court hearing. Scared me to death. So I paid $200.00 and set up 2 additional payments for April and May. I called the Magistrate Court this morning and they said they had no judgements on me. This is in fact a scam. I had to get a whole new checking account bc she had the last 4 digits of my account. Please just ignore these people and do not give them any money. I am going to get my money back by disputing the charges and filing a fraud claim. but this cost me a lot of time today and actually made me cry yesterday, think that I was going to jail. The lady I spoke with was nice after I decided that I was going to pay some of the money, and her name was Ms. Bailey.
