They call about 5-6 times a day even when I block them.

They tell me they need to speak to me about a tax matter and it needs to be resolved as soon as possible.

They leave me a voicemail.

Received 10+ voicemails " hi I'm with the special resolution unit. Um, I'm reaching out about a tax matter before your file moves into final collections. Uh, please give me a call back when you can. My direct line is 855-768-8331. A special resolution unit. I've been checking through some files that got flagged before the 2026 IRS deadline, and yours is still showing a few unresolved items. Maybe a past balance or missing returns. With a new relief programs rolled out for your state under the current administration, there's still time to see if you qualify for help, especially if you've had any recent financial stress. I'd really like to connect before this gets passed on to collections. From what I'm seeing, there may still be a way we can step in and help. Um, feel free to call me back at 855-768-8331. I received as of today 6 calls left voice messages each time. Called from 6 different phone numbers. 2/11 called from 414-437-9155, 2/13 called from 702-905-6203, 2.14 called from 440-906-9917, 2/16 called from 804-981-0225, 2/17 called from 857-407-2630, 2/18 called from 804-667-1890. I have blocked the phone numbers but saved the voice messages. Attached is one of the voice messages that are always the same. This person is being a real pain in the butt. How can she be stopped? Thank you.

I receive 1 call a day from this “special resolution unit” using different names. I report spam and bloc every time but keep getting them.

Ive received tens of calls from people providing names and “direct lines” to help “resolve” something for the IRS “before it goes to collections”.

Every call is from a different phone number. Names provided were Brian Lopez, Rebeca, and Daniella.
