KEPT GETTING CALLS FROM A LADY SAYING SHE WAS WITH SOCIAL SECURITY. ONCE I STARTED TALKING THE CALL WOULD STOP. THEN ONE CALL SHE ASKED IF I COULD HEAR HER CLEARLY AND I SAID YES. FOUND OUT IT WAS A SCAMMER TRYING TO GET ME TO ANSWER YES.

This is second call in a week saying from Social Security and to call. I called S S and they said they do not do automated calls which is what I got.. 1st call showed Houston Tx, today call was San Antonio Tx

They called and left a message saying it was from Social Security and wanted me to call back when I called back it was immediately and they answered stating they were Social Security Administration.

Called asking directly to speak to my 82 y/o mother .., when she said this is her! They said this is Social Security... she said you are a scam and I am turning you in!

Call from reported phone number, missed call, called again, my wife answered and the guy said he was from Social Security, stated her benefits were being subject to be cancelled, then the phone got interrupted, I called the number back, a guy with a foreign accent answered and stated he was an agent with Social Security, I asked for a badge number, he stated 1308, I asked where he was calling from, and he hung up.

A man called saying he was from the Social Security disability benefits application process. He asked if I can hear them OK and I said yeah. Then he hung up. I’m watching my accounts carefully that he didn’t charge something.

Someone called me up from "Social Security" and asked me if I could hear them clearly. I foolishly said "Yes." Now I'm afraid they will use my recorded "authorization" to ring up false charges and other identity theft. :(

I just got a call from a very friendly man that told me his was from the Social Security Administration. Then he asked me if I understood what he said, I replied Yes But I don't Believe You! The man mumbled then hung up the phone...I had heard before on television that Social Securty would never call you so I knew it must be a scam!

These people keep calling me. The first time I spoke to someone, they sounded American. After that, they've had accents. They want to ask me a bunch of personal questions but won't answer any of mine. Seem rushed. I asked, Are you federal? Their answer was vague, basically "Not yes, not no." and then they continued peppering me with questions about myself and telling me if I wanted answers I have to answer their questions.

It is a recorded message about social security. States I mine could be discontinued, but no one in our household draws it. Gives a case # and tells us to call the emergency help line (512)537-6660 . I know it is a scam. Did not return call.

Called knew my name. Stated it was SS office. Trying to get everyone on Social Security Disability 2600 a month. I told him I am not disabled nor am I filing for disability, he hung up. Been harassing me for two months.

Was called from this number saying they wanted to confirm my conversation with Social Security. It was the "Can yo hear me" scam to get me to say "yes".

A call came in on my cell phone. I was told caller was from social security and he could help me to get disability ins. Then he asked if I could hear him. Unfortunately, without thinking, I said yes, which is a real no-no. Then I said I wasn't interested. Guess I have to check my credit cards, cable charges, etc.
