On 12/1/2018 I received a back brace which I did not order - so I declined to accept the package. I receive up to four or five robo calls a day from someone saying they are from the social security and they understand that I have some back or knee pain. They say I can get a brace for little or no cost to me all I have to do is give them the numbers on my card. I know this is a scam, so I just hang up.

Just got a call from Tower, Minnesota (218-3001014) telling me my social security had unusual amount of activity and it was going to be suspended. The lady had a foreign accent. I told her I would go to the Social security office and hung up. I called our local Social Security office and found that they never call and always send mail. He verified there was no suspension or unusual activities. This was a scam.

The same man that left A voicemail stating that I need to call right away that my Social Security number is having suspicious activity to call the number 551-313-4421 , when I had called that number , the same man answered when He asked for my name I did not give it to him and when I was giving it to him Incorrectly he kept asking me to repeat myself That he cannot understand me to repeat myself I did not give him my name and I haven’t given him my name he kept asking me to repeat myself and that’s when I told him I know he is a scam because he wanted the correct name , I saved the message that was on my voicemail from him

Received call from said Social Security office wanting my SS# if not provided my number would be suspended. I provided them with my number. They also told me that a car was found under my SS# that had blood in it and that I had Fraud bank accounts in Mexico. I called the SS office to verify my number was not suspended and it was not. I was told by the true SS office that i would never be contacted by phone for anything to do with SS. I am not out any money because I realized it was a scam before it got that far.
