Feel like a fool!

I also was contacted by them, multiple times... to be a brand ambassador. I initially thought the cost of postage was high, but as I'm in Australia and they supposedly in the US, I thought maybe it was okay and besides, I'd be getting free stuff. So in the end, figured it would work out.
They were very attentive until payment of postage was made... then NOTHING. it has been three weeks, the email address on their website is a dead link.
Lesson learnt... I wont accept any offers of brand ambassador again.

Never received items

I was contacted on instagram, my goal was to become brand ambassadors for companies whose products I use. Since they reached out to me and their website looked like it was a company out of California I thought this would be good for first time ambassador. I was given a code for ‘free’ items but had to pay shipping. The price of shipping was so high I knew I was ultimately paying for the scarfs which I was fine with, I liked them. I received an order confirmation and nothing else. I never received the items or received any shipping/tracking notification. I contacted customer service and didn’t get a response. Also once the order was placed the instagram bot went silent even though I was previously told they would connect with me to collaborate.

They had messaged me to collaborate with them, which I thought for the first time collaboration and having two dogs be a fun one to do. Weeks later after saying yes and ordering 2 scarfs and paying just the “shipping” I received nothing sending them an email where they said the package must have gotten lost and sent me another with a tracking link, which I am pretty sure was fake. Showing also it was coming from China not the States as it had seemed. Needless to say months later no replies and no scarves for my dogs.

They do not send any product

I was asked to collaborate with them and thought be cute and fun with my two dogs. I will say that I never received any item, and they gave me a fake tracker. When asked where my item was they apologised and told me it got lost it seemed and would resend me my items with a link to a package tracker. Looking at the sight it was from China not the states and looked very fake. Needless to say I never did receive my item and it's been over a month now.

What a scam!!

Scarf & Tail contacted me via Instagram on September 9, 2022. They pitched me this song and dance about being brand ambassadors for their brand. I'll admit that I fell for it. I ordered 4 scarfs for my dogs and was charged over $35 in shipping for them. Six weeks later, I attempted to contact them via Instagram (as they had contacted me) and nothing. I emailed them. They did not return emails. Over 3 months later, I get 4 tiny pieces of material in the mail that do not even come close to being the size I ordered. I have to give them away to other people for their dogs because they don't even come halfway around my dogs' necks. I feel the only reason that this joke of a company sent these out to me is that I threatened them with legal action.

They buy their scarves for $1 on AliExpress.com based in China and sew their letters on it. Then make a good $75 off you since they charge so much in tax. I am a fellow online store owner and will make sure they put a stop to their lack in communication. I also paid with paypal so i will have them refund me since the store owners wont write back.

I have recently been contacted on my Instagram page saying how nice my page is suggesting everything about joining them as one of their ambassadors and collaborating with them. I did contact the person who made the first contact asking how I can help them as I make items for decoration purposes only I had no reply which t thought was fine considering knowing they are based in America and me UK the time difference I didn’t expect them to reply straight away. Overnight I didn’t have a reply so I went to scarf and tail direct on there page and straight away I had a reply ? Straight away I thought that’s odd time difference but unknowing to them I don’t do things until I have done research so I had come across this site and straight away I had what you guys have been experiencing with the communication so straight away I had it in front of me it was a scam but I had the evidence in writing

My pooch recently became a so called “ambassador “ with scarf and tail . I don’t know What qualifies as “legitimate” in terms of being an ambassador but I do know this.

1- Our original order was free other than shipping - which I was informed about before hand.

2- it took a couple weeks but we did receive our bandanas.
3- the discount counts have worked when applied to my purchases.

I have no clue about whether or not the commission part is legit but it was never about that for us frankly I just wanted the bandanas and to get some free apparel which I have.

Take what you want from this info just wanted to share .

I was excited at the thought of becoming an ambassador for this brand and ordered 7scarves for my dog as they had suggested and paid 80$ I’m shipping fee, which I associated was because I live in Canada. I thought since they had over 400K in followers that they were legit. I’ve received so many requests in the past to become an ambassador for X reason and have always ignored them… until now. Very disappointing to hear this. I guess I will not be waiting for my scarves to come through the mail… :(

Scarf and Tail contacted me in late January about a 'brand ambassadorship' opportunity for me and my dog, so that I could take photos of her in a scarf and they would repost me online. They gave me a "Free" discount code but then I paid a HEFTY shipping charge.I chalked it up to the distance and the fact I might be receiving my scarves right away.

3 weeks later I had received no info about my order, there were no status updates, and they gave me some bogus excuse about their third party logistics company.

This company is clearly engaging in some sort of 'inflated shipping costs' scam where people don't feel particularly obligated to check on their order, and then forget about it or are strung-along for a long time.

Paid for shipping for 3 scarves

We have not received the scarves and the tracking number provided is unknown by the shipping company. This "company" contacted through Instagram and after several messages, I deemed legit. However, I have been waiting on the scarves for 3 weeks now.

Scarf and Tail is a Scam

My Instagram is just one day old and has no dog pictures on it yet but I follow some other dog instagrams. Two different people asked me to be a brand ambassador / influencer for Scarf and Tail within an hour of each other. I was interested but confused by the first offer then I knew it was a scam when I received the second.

They make it seem so real. I asked a question about the scarfs fitting my cat, and they gave a reasonable answer. I thought is was weird that someone contacted me (@ErikaBrock) and then asked me to send a message to @scarfandtail, which on their website does not mention anything about the person who contacted me or Ambassador programs?
