I received a fraudulent invoice from Strategic Business Communications LLC. I have never had any contact nor have I ever done business with this company. They send fraudulent invoices hoping small businesses like ours aren't sophisticated to know that it's fraud. I contacted some of their "customers" listed on their website and none of those organizations have ever heard of this company and certainly are not customers of theirs.

My place of employment received a fake invoice in the mail in the amount of $3495.00 from Strategic Business Communications. It is a very official-looking invoice.

My business received a fraudulent invoice from SBC Worldwide LLC, demanding payment of $3495.00 for 'Annual advertising fees' and

'Life Sciences Business Development Directory'. The invoice claimed that the expense was approved by the company CEO. My company had no prior interaction with SBC, and no one at the company had requested or approved these services. The fraud involved interstate solicitation through the US Mail.

Received an invoice from this company with the name of our CEO as the "Approver" for the amount of $3495. We have never done business with this company and after googling, realized via Yelp that this company has been sending out fake invoices to companies for literally doing nothing for them.

Fake Invoice Scam: Description was well thought out as our product description is stated on invoice. It says annual advertising fees and gives a tax id number for the business to make it look so real.

This company sent our company an invoice, which looked extremely convincing, as "Strategic Business Communications". The invoice was for annual advertising fees, which is a common business expense. However, after a quick Google search, I discovered that this company was fraudulent.

This company asks for you to make checks out to Account Receivables for SBC Worldwide LLC. Don't pay for this invoice if you see it!

Similar to the other complaints I read on the ScamPulse.com site: Sent us an invoice for Advertising insertion order (full color, standard page) $3,495 with the approver noted as our CEO. At first thought was legit, so tried calling the company using the number listed on the website - sounded like a phone company answering machine, and no one answered any of the department lines (sales, finance, etc.). Then checked the web and saw that they are scammers...

Received a fake invoice for advertising in the amount of $3,495.00. Under Approver section they listed our CEO's name which he has no knowledge of ever giving approval for this. I tried to call and no answer and call just drops off.

Received an invoice for $3495 with our co-founder's name on the invoice as "approver". When I checked this with him, he didn't recall this business name though the invoice looked very legit. I called multiple times during business hours and chose each department on the menu, with not one answer. No response to voicemail or email. Did a little online research and many others have experienced the same.

Our company received a fake invoice in the mail from Strategic Business Communications that lists the CEO of our company as the approver at the top of the invoice. It was an invoice for an advertising insertion order in the amount of $3,495.00 and tells us to pay Accounts Receivable at SBC Worldwide LLC at 1979 Marcus Avenue, Suite 210 in Lake Success, NY 11042-1022. It looks like a legitimate invoice but it isn't. It did not include any small print indicating that this is a solicitation. No one at our business ever contacted them.

We received an invoice with one of our managers listed as an Approver. After consulting with the named manager who had never requested the services listed we knew this was a scam. A quick internet search showed that many others are also receiving these customized invoices.
