- Columbus, OH, USA

On January 13, 2023 I received an email from a Kathlynn Frost about becoming an employee of the business. She informed me that she came across my resume on a hiring site and that she wanted to employ me as an intern for 30 days and then after that they would determine if I would be a good choice for permanent employment. The website that the “employee’s” are supposed to use to check in packages, take pictures of the items and upload them on the website was available for me to see from 1/13/2023 until this morning @9:30am. Around 12pm, I tried to log back in to check on a package label I was waiting on and a message came back, “wrong email/password”. My payment date was set for today 2/17/2023 in the amount of $3,369 to be deposited into my bank account but so far I haven’t gotten any type of payment from this company. My senior managers name is Frank ******s and I have no way of contacting him now that they have kicked me out of the system. I don’t understand why this company is scamming their “employees” because they use legit shipping companies like Amazon, UPS, FedEx and DHL to ship the packages that was coming to my door. They need to be advised of this company as well, I still have a package here at my home that I still haven’t been able to send out.

I applied for a bunch of jobs on indeed. They reached out and said they were interested and that I needed to fill out an application. Filled out and sent it. Was told I had the job. They send me an email with login information for the website with step by step instructions on how to upload picture of the package and navigate

The website. I was sent packages. Would request the shipping label, print off and drop at FedEx. I did this for a month before I was suppose to get paid. Anytime a package would be expected to arrive I got an email from Mary Hollis letting me know

They contacted me via email about a remote work from home customer service job as a Package Inspector, they said it would start as an a internship for 30 days and I would be paid MONTHLY. Just to see if we would be a good fit for EACH OTHER then possibly move forward to an actual job offer. They sent packages to my house for me to take a picture of the items inside the box being packaged well and not damaged and good to go to send to customer. Then upload those photos on their site and wait on new labels to be sent on their site. Then I would drop the boxes off at the nearest delivery company that may have applied. I was told when pay day would be and how much and I never got paid 1 dime. I reached out numerous of times and nothing. Next thing I know I can't log back in the website to reach the boss Frank Stevens or the H.R. chick who contacted me from the start. I couldn't see the pending on my money nor the work on site packages. I was unactivated from the site.

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME ! Are you serious !? They aren’t paying us for that work ? Plus my login doesn’t work anymore either ! Broooooo 😒😒😒😒 that is messed up !

Presumed to be an employer([email protected]) from AZ United Fulfillment, LLC interested in my resume and offered employment asking for phone number to further contact me about position. Later received an email from presumably another person (Mary Shelton - AZ United Fulfillment, LLC • [email protected]) from their hr department within the same address but a different reply address with an application to fill out and return and the mention of a different company named Advance Fulfillment Co, LLC.

I signed a contract with premier air cargo holdings LLC as a shipping courier. I received top quality goods to take photos of the goods and packing lists and shipped them off. Everything was documented and sent off as directed. My base salary was $2,000 (monthly) including bonuses for each shipping parcel complement. I was given an account to log in to to keep track of my progress as well as packages shipping labels and tracking numbers for said goods. Payment was to be on the 7th of each month. When the 7th arrived I no longer had access to my account and I was no longer able to contact my shipping coordinator or the manager of the company.

they gave me a job offer to reship items without opening it and it wouldn't have my name on it but it would be sent to my address. I don't know if this is a reshipping scam or not but I really need to know if you guys can find out.

They would offer a 3k compensation for “package handling” upon receiving your first package they will try to change your info and stop responding to you. I confronted them and even got clarification from the “certification” company they used that they are a fake and commiting forgery.

Posed as a legit job with a base salary of 2,000.00 per month and bonuses for each package delivered. I received several packages and followed directions as was given by instruction and via email from shipping coordinator, however when the date of pay rolled around on 1-28-2023, I was given excuse after excuse from the shipping coordinator such as that payroll would not be in, the company should have handled this ahead of time, and my pay should have been delievered as I was told I would be, I emailed several times and didn't receive a reply, left at least six different messages or emails and was told one thing after another, such as we needed to complete a confirmation of completion form then was not sent the form, messaged three times later, and received no reply. Went to the extent to message through the back office on the website used to submit documents and messaged about my concerns, was told that there was a problem with receiving packages to my address, that had nothing to do with me being paid, and the topic of being paid was not addressed and after waiting several days from the date promised (01-28). Today is 02-02-2023 when I am finally filing this complaint, I will be seeking other avenues and organizations to report this scam to as well.

Was “hired” to receive packages, open packages and confirm the contents, then ship the package with a new shipping label. Was told I would receive payment of $2180 within a month, plus bonuses for shipping out quickly, etc.

i got a intern job offer from this compan that said id be paid for the internship they send me packages i had to inspect them & send them back out i was suppose to be paid after completing one month

i was hired by fulfilment matrix to reship packages . was suppose to be paud after a month & now no one responds to emails or calls

I was looking for a job and was contacted for a "Remote Fulfillment Assistant" position. I was made to sign an 'internship agreement' for one month. Pay was $2180/month plus $30-$40 per package processed. Packages were to come to my address and I was to 'process' these packages. Then I was sent a link to register and account which was asking for personal information like birthday and image of driver's license or passport. This became suspicious to me so I tried to look them up. I couldn't find their company in ScamPulse.com or anywhere. And when I do a 'whois' on their domain, it looks very suspicious. Their phone number always goes to voicemail. I hope this helps somebody avoid this scam.

I was approached through an email. I responded and they called me for an interview. I did the interview with **** ******* over the phone and it was for a remote Package Handler position. It would pay $3000 per month to receive, document, and resent 80 packages per month with the first month being a little slow. I have done work at home before and they had me fill out an application, go through the same process that you would do with any job, and then you are given an email with instructions and the program that I would be working out of with a training manual. I was given access to a user panel with all of the information of the customer and what was in the package. I did this for a month and immediately was locked out of the program and did not get paid. I want to report this because they are scamming people to work and they get your money. Be very careful!

I was sent packages to check the products and upload pictures then send product off through UPS or FedEx. I was suppose to be paid on 1/12/2023 in the amount of $3000 I was told the check would post into my account on 1/13/2023. I still never received the money and now the lady will not answer my calls or emails. She would email me everyday about the packages being sent off.

They contacted me about a "Package Handler" job saying they were a partner to Amazon. All I would have to do is repackage and reship the orders I received at my door. Trial period for 30days, I would receive $3,000 for my salary. Then after that every 2 weeks $1,500. My payment date was 12/30/2022. I emailed Mary Shelton and asked why I didn't receive it and she said it may take a day or two depending on my bank (reasonable okay). Here we are 1/2/2023 and I still have no check and now my login is no longer valid and no one is answering any of my emails or phone calls.

On Dec. 21, 2022, I received an email from Matthew Kim <[email protected]> with an attached application form. The email basically stated to fill out the application and email it back and an interview would be arranged. Enclosed in the email were attachments for the Candidate Guidelines, Candidate Job Description, and Candidate Presentation. Signed by the Matt Kim, Training and Recruitment Team Human Resource Department (773) 219 1166. Even an inclusion for, "More Helpful Info for Employees" at TheMerchantly.com/help. Compensation would be $1500 base pay per month and $50 per package inspected. The first payment would post within a month and then biweekly payments would be processed. On average, one could make up to $3000/a month. Emphasis was made on this being a side hustle/part-time gig to work at home. And should not be used as your primary source of income. I did not fill out and email my application until 12/25. On 12/27 I was given a link to schedule my interview, which would be via phone for 15-30 mins. I had scheduled for 01/03/23 and was reading more into the website. But as I was reading a few things were not matching and were unclear. Such as the unknown package, whose name to enter on the dashboard. And the actual delivery of the packages; were they to come from Amazon? And texting the inspection report to the supervisor, which was basically a few pictures and 1-2 sentence description of your findings. I was trying to get clarification, so I tried to do a google search and wasn't able to find anything for the Company. I eventually did a Bing search and was able to find one review on ScamAdvisor.com that was for a similiar company by the name of Merchandizely. The entry was basically stating the same thing, an application was sent but the applicant was actually hired and was working for the company for a month. But the applicant never got paid and when the applicant was trying to get some answers, none could be found. The applicant called the Company out as Scammers using people for free labor. So, I dug deeper and looked into their website merchandizely.com and it was the exact same website as themerchant.com. Both websites had a small package in the left corner as their icon and both were headlined as, "The Best Businesses Choose #1 Marketplace Experts", with the exact same graphics and layout. So, I tried to call Matt Kim and the line kept going to a busy signal. So, I went back to the website and strolled down for contact info. And what I did not catch the first time was that the "Small" was misspelled as "Smal", on both websites. And besides the names being different, the locations were both in DE but with different addresses for different States. From my gatherings, it does appear this Company or these Companies are taking on Small Businesses as clients but are using this Work-at-Home platform to find applicants to perform the manual labor for free. I emailed Matt back since I wasn't able to call and advise I was no longer interested. I received a cancellation email for my interview a day later. I did not want to believe this to be a scam because so much dedication was put into the application process and website, which made the company seem legit. The sender's email was from the company's domain. And although it was a general HR email address and not an individual such as [email protected], nor personal, like a Gmail account; it seemed legit. So, I am sending this to just remind job seekers to not buy into emails where the sender is not using a company's domain. Look for grammatical errors in the email, their website if applicable, and even your name. Did they spell your name correctly, did they even use your name or a generic Hi, template? And if it sounds too good to be true, 9 times out of 10, it is.</[email protected]>
