They contacted me about a "Package Handler" job saying they were a partner to Amazon. All I would have to do is repackage and reship the orders I received at my door. Trial period for 30days, I would receive $3,000 for my salary. Then after that every 2 weeks $1,500. My payment date was 12/30/2022. I emailed Mary Shelton and asked why I didn't receive it and she said it may take a day or two depending on my bank (reasonable okay). Here we are 1/2/2023 and I still have no check and now my login is no longer valid and no one is answering any of my emails or phone calls.

On Dec. 21, 2022, I received an email from Matthew Kim <[email protected]> with an attached application form. The email basically stated to fill out the application and email it back and an interview would be arranged. Enclosed in the email were attachments for the Candidate Guidelines, Candidate Job Description, and Candidate Presentation. Signed by the Matt Kim, Training and Recruitment Team Human Resource Department (773) 219 1166. Even an inclusion for, "More Helpful Info for Employees" at TheMerchantly.com/help. Compensation would be $1500 base pay per month and $50 per package inspected. The first payment would post within a month and then biweekly payments would be processed. On average, one could make up to $3000/a month. Emphasis was made on this being a side hustle/part-time gig to work at home. And should not be used as your primary source of income. I did not fill out and email my application until 12/25. On 12/27 I was given a link to schedule my interview, which would be via phone for 15-30 mins. I had scheduled for 01/03/23 and was reading more into the website. But as I was reading a few things were not matching and were unclear. Such as the unknown package, whose name to enter on the dashboard. And the actual delivery of the packages; were they to come from Amazon? And texting the inspection report to the supervisor, which was basically a few pictures and 1-2 sentence description of your findings. I was trying to get clarification, so I tried to do a google search and wasn't able to find anything for the Company. I eventually did a Bing search and was able to find one review on ScamAdvisor.com that was for a similiar company by the name of Merchandizely. The entry was basically stating the same thing, an application was sent but the applicant was actually hired and was working for the company for a month. But the applicant never got paid and when the applicant was trying to get some answers, none could be found. The applicant called the Company out as Scammers using people for free labor. So, I dug deeper and looked into their website merchandizely.com and it was the exact same website as themerchant.com. Both websites had a small package in the left corner as their icon and both were headlined as, "The Best Businesses Choose #1 Marketplace Experts", with the exact same graphics and layout. So, I tried to call Matt Kim and the line kept going to a busy signal. So, I went back to the website and strolled down for contact info. And what I did not catch the first time was that the "Small" was misspelled as "Smal", on both websites. And besides the names being different, the locations were both in DE but with different addresses for different States. From my gatherings, it does appear this Company or these Companies are taking on Small Businesses as clients but are using this Work-at-Home platform to find applicants to perform the manual labor for free. I emailed Matt back since I wasn't able to call and advise I was no longer interested. I received a cancellation email for my interview a day later. I did not want to believe this to be a scam because so much dedication was put into the application process and website, which made the company seem legit. The sender's email was from the company's domain. And although it was a general HR email address and not an individual such as [email protected], nor personal, like a Gmail account; it seemed legit. So, I am sending this to just remind job seekers to not buy into emails where the sender is not using a company's domain. Look for grammatical errors in the email, their website if applicable, and even your name. Did they spell your name correctly, did they even use your name or a generic Hi, template? And if it sounds too good to be true, 9 times out of 10, it is.</[email protected]>

This company wanted me to get packages delivered to my home, I was told to open and take pictures of inside, then repackage it. Then I was asked to print out label, and take to FedEx. This was to be done every day. I was told my first pay would be monthly of $3000, then I would get paid $1500 every two weeks. Unfortunately, I don't have a car nor the funds to pay for a bus or a LYFT to take me to FedEx everyday. So I would have to pay for FedEx pick up services which is $4 a day. Upon contacting FedEx, they told me they dont even have these tracking numbers in their system. I would need an account number in order to print a manifest. I told the manager Mary Hollins, and she would not give me any account number. She says its mandatory that I take them myself. Then she began to be rude when I said this sounds like a scam. Why should I have to pay out of pocket everyday to ship, when the label is already prepaid? I told her FedEx should be able to see a tracking number if it was real. This was the worst experience ever. I explained to her that I am facing eviction and funds are depleted. I need other accommodations, and the reply was " we are no longer interested in your services". This tells me it was definitely a scam!! I have attached an email of what she said my pay was supposed to be.

- Westcliffe, CO, USA

Fulfillment Matrix hired me to ship packages. I was supposed to be paid on the 12/23/2022. There was no payment made and now they will not respond to any communication.

The Smartest Delivery Company offer me for the home position job Remote Courier.

The job consist of parcels will be delivered directly to Fedex UPS USPS. After receiving the package, I will take a photo of the box and upload the photos to the CRM system. Then I will receive an outgoing shipping label to print. All labels are prepaid. I don’t need to pay for shipping. Just simply print out the shipping label and go to the nearest UPS or FedEx office, or just drop off the package at a nearest location.

The payment will be paid $25 per each shipped package biweekly. Plus a monthly salary of $3500. $3500 is a guarantee payment every month (that's their promise to me). My payment may be deposited, or they may mail a check, or it may be sent to the PayPal.

Then after I reviewed the agreement, I signed it last November 17, 2022. I started to receive tasks for dropping packages. I followed their instructions. Then suddenly one week before my first payment of $3,500 plus bonus of $350, supposed to be December 18, 2022, they stop communicating with me and they shut off the control panel system and I cannot log in.

Although I'm not paying for the shipping label, I use my own paper, ink, electric, and transportation expenses and since I don't drive which is why I'm using Lyft or Uber, so I lost $265.00.

I was emailed a job offer I did not apply for. No one is answering the phone and the website looks unprofessional and suspicious.

- Fayetteville, NC, USA

I was told I would get paid 3000 monthly along with $10 per package bonus. I was supposed to receive my payment on Friday December 9, 2022. When I tried to log in to check my account I was no longer able to log in. They kept trying to ensure me that I was going to get my payment by western union but never received my money for my work.

- Bondurant, IA, USA

They emailed me like I applied to some job and I was supposed to get package sent to me and I would relabel them and resend the package to another location. The pay was enticing but it sounds like a scam. They only have my email address.

- Portland, OR, USA

To make it a short story, I accepted the offer and signed the agreement. I thought everything was fine. I drop off all the packages with my own transportation expenses. The total is $234.65, Then they told me that I will receive my first paycheck on December 18, 2022 plus a bonus of $350.00. Then lately I'm wondering why they stop sending the parcel in my portal control panel, I ask them no one answers my questions. Suddenly on December 15, 2022 they shut off my login portal. I cannot log in anymore.

They offered me a job to work remote and ship out packages. They claimed they were 3rd party and that they were going to pay me a base pay. They said they would have me start as a paid intern and after the 30 days I would be paid/hired on if they felt I was up to company's par. They never asked me for my s.s. number however I had to send them a picture of my licence and I did provide bank information. They now have stopped responding.

I received an email out of the blue today from this "company" with the following message:

[Subject]

"Box' N' Box Parcel Service, LLC. - Job Description"

[Body]

"Hello <recipient's>,

Your CV has been received in response to the recent advertisement.

We were impressed by your background and would like to invite you to interview online: <https:>

For the reason that we receive so many applications, we can't schedule individual contact with all who applies for a job.

You can find detailed information about this work in Job Description file enclosed.

I hope to meet you soon!

Regards,

Melissa Mohler,

Box' N' Box Parcel Service, LLC"

The email also contained an attached .pdf file containing what is effectively a two-page breakdown of the job's details (Title, Hours, Pay, etc), short blurb about the company, positional details/functions, and supposed necessary qualifications.

I have never applied for such a job, but had very recently updated my Indeed profile preferences for Remote Work, so I'm assuming that's how they decided to target me.</https:></recipient's>

Goes through process of providing job description, “legitimate” internship agreement, and even creates login for “employee” login.

this company contacted me via indeed about reshipping packages with a salary pay of $2180 per month wanting my paypal info to pay me through. still trying to remove my information from their website and now cannot contact anyone that "works" there

I was offered an work from home position through the company Top Smart Delivery on 10/17/22. I have been looking for these type of positions due to me being limited on a lot because of an auto accident. I have been working for them since shipping packages they sent me and was suppose to compensate me monthly as well as per package after 30 days of working with them. When I didn’t receive my payment I called and the number rang busy and I was also signed out of the company website. I also signed an contract with them with the terms of my employment.

Yes, I was lead to believe I was hired on to do a work from home data entry position. Onboarding paperwork was made believable. The recruiter “***** Buckland” she blocked my number as well as “*****y Hinds” Telegram acct he blocked me when I made him aware of what’s going on.

Two checks that said chase bank was sent to my home via fedex at different times with substantial amounts. The bank teller and back manager couldn’t verify the checks. There has been communication via e-mail and texts and an IM text interview on the job position via Telegram. Start date was 11/16/2022 of said job.

I was contacted through indeed for a job. They had me nail out packages with a promise to pay at the end of the month. This was a scam

I was offered a job & they have not paid me
