Title: Executive Assistant (to Support Chief Information Officer)

Location: Raleigh/Durham, NC (3 days onsite); remote candidates considered

Duration: 6 months contract (possible extension)

PR Range: $44/hr. - $48/hr. W2. W2. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

This position is to back fill an existing employee that is retiring this year.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support our Chief Information Officer (CIO). This contract-to-hire role is ideal for a seasoned professional with C-suite support experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and demonstrates sound judgment, confidentiality, and attention to detail. You will play a key role in enabling the CIO to operate at peak effectiveness through executive support, calendar and communications management, and strategic coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the CIO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel logistics

• Monitor and prioritize emails and system notifications on the CIO’s behalf

• Draft correspondence, reports, meeting materials, and presentations

• Coordinate high-level internal and external meetings, including agendas and logistics

• Manage communications and messaging for the CIO, including regular updates and follow-ups

• Coordinate and track CIO leadership team activities, including planning sessions and site visits

• Maintain a communications plan and manage executive-level documentation

• Take and distribute meeting minutes, and track action items

• Ensure the CIO is well-prepared for meetings and events

• Travel may be required (for site visits or executive events)

• Other administrative and strategic support duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

• 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives (CIO, CEO, etc.)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, OneDrive

• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and handle sensitive information

• Strong writing and editing skills with a professional communication style

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-demand environment

• Availability for occasional overtime as needed

• Located in or near Raleigh/Durham, NC preferred; remote candidates considered

The lady called saying she had a job that would pay a guaranteed $25/ hour at Kimberly Clarke in Fairburn Ga.

She wanted me to verify my birth month and birth day. She told me that in 30 minutes her boss would call me on a Teams call and interview me. She sent over an email for me to read and kept asking me did i give the company permission to proceed. She asked that question too many times. I eventually hung up and blocked the number.

Shift Time & Working Days 8:00am - 5:30pm Central, start times are either 8:00am - 4:30pm, 8:30am - 5:00pm or 9:00am - 5:30pm

Pay range- $32.35 an Hour on W-2.

Fully Bi-lingual in Spanish/English is REQUIRED

Training Hours - 8am -4:30pm, Monday - Friday Central Time zone.

Candidates must have a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet and private working environment.

Receives requests via telephone regarding Insurance application status.

Responds to inquiries from Independent and Client Agents and/or agencies for information and assistance.

Performs research to respond to inquiries and interprets notifications to determine most effective response.

Independently responds to inquiries, grievances, complaints or appeals ranging from routine to moderate complexity.

Schedule may vary based on needs of business (hours of Operation M-F 8:00 am- 5:30 pm CST)

Performance determined on many factors, including, phone metrics and quality assurance scores.

Skills:

Prior Insurance experience preferred, Client experience a plus.

2+ years’ experience in customer service, call center environment strongly preferred.

Maintain detailed knowledge of all products and procedures.

Ability to handle high end customers in a professional manner.

Bi-Lingual- Spanish required.

Home internet with 50 mbps and up is required.
