They called saying we won $800,000 and if we could go to Wal-Mart and send them a check or wire transfer they would process the check and send it to us.

- Decatur, TX, USA

This person named Robert Hall called me on 11/29/17 stating that I had won $850,000 from Publishing clearing house. He said it would be a check from Bank of America and her name was Lisa Moore the rep. He also gave me the attorneys name of Mary Miller. The ups drivers name of Michael Sayer. Also he gave me a check number that the $850,000 would be on. He put me on hold for a hot second to supposedly call the IRS. He said I had to pay $158 for registration and insurance fees. He wanted me to go to a walmart, but he never called back to tell me where to send the money which I wasn't going to do anyway. Publishing clearing house don't call and tell u that u won money and u have to send them money. He could barely speak ENGLISH and was calling from Jamaica.

Guy Goes by the name James B, Says he is with Publishers Clearing House and that i won a random raffle for shopping at stores like Walmart, Walgreens, CVS and a couple other ones i dont remember. Said i won second place this month of a prize of over $10,000, a mercedes bins, a washing machine, a dryer, and a blender. BUT before i can have this shipped to me "tomorrow" i have to help him fill out a form and then i would have to pay 1% of the prize money which came out to $250 to even get it. they have been calling me over thenksgiving weekend and since then. i told them i do not trust them and they keep calling back and i havent picked up the phone for them since. they use UNKOWN NUMBER as well so i just dont pick up. when i did pick up thei first couple times they even had me talk to their "Manager" this isnt the first time I've gotten this kind of a call but eh, i only picked it up cause they first used the washington number. outside the country i'm not picking it up.

i did not play their game, no money lost, no information given out. just being harrassed by a company that "doesnt want to waste their time" looked up how people win PCH stuff and you have to enter, which i didnt. so, no harm done aside from needing the DO NOT DISTURB on so they cant wake me up when im sleeping or have my pocket vibrate through out my work day.

he also told me not to tell anyone i won, said his badge number was 33 33 US, and said they work with the FBI, and the IRS and can get my information through bills, and places i shop.

Elderly mother called this morning stating she had won $1 million Publishers Clearing HOuse prize. She was told to call this man back with the specific address of the "Kerrville, TX ScamPulse.com" where she was to go and give them a $185 personal check. This money would "seal" the prize money for her and she could then get "$1000 per week" for life deposited into her bank account. The caller which was male left the following telephone number for her to call back for address of the "BBB" office : 210-319-6093. The caller identified themselves as being from Publisher's Clearing house. They told me I had won $10 million and a fully loaded Mercedes Benz. They wanted me to give them $500 to cover taxes and delivery fees. They told me it was monitored and investigated by the FBI, they said it was licensed and insured by Geico, one year insurance, road service, and gas. The person calling said his name was David Jackson, the manager of Publisher's Clearing House.

Man called my 81 year old mother and told her she had won money and a car from Publisher's Clearing House. He gave her a number to call to verify. I called the number myself and caller id came up as Jamaica. The man called back and asked if I had called the verification number. I told him it had come up as Jamaica. He said that was incorrect and they were out of Las Vegas and proceeded to give me another number to call. I started looking up scams on the ScamPulse.com and found similar things had happened to other people. I had questioned him when he called back the second time and he seemed a little flustered. He didn't bother to call back and see if I had tried the second number he had given me. The phone numbers he had given me were 876-572-1759 and 876-572-1869.

A man who gave the name of Michael Cyler called my 86 year old mother and told her she won the Publisher's Clearing House prize of money and a car. She first needed to get a money gram to 4074 Cyler SP Detroit MI 48238.

The caller asked how much she could send and stated he would call back later.

First name I got message from a friend I thought it was. Had her name and pic. After brief chat she said she had won money from PCH. She gave a link where I could contact them. I went to that link and they said I was a winner of 150,000 they gave me a bunch of info that I would need to present when they delivered my winnings but first I would have to send 1500 to secure my winnings. The second time I won a larger amount but the amount I had to send was less. Now today I get one from FedEx saying they have my package just waiting on payment 3500 dollars

We have received a phone call four days in a row saying we have won from Publishers Clearing. When we say this is a scam they hang up but keep calling back. we are always careful not to say yes to any question. Today they left this phone number 917 900 9230. If you see it do not answer.

He told me that he was from Publisher's Clearinghouse and I had won 3.5 million and they had a cashier's check made from Bank of America ready for me. He said I also won a 2018 Mercedes C-Class. He said I would receive $10,000/month and I needed to give a co-beneficiary and I would have to have a release number of 0107109930 to get the money. He said that Jennifer White from JP Law Firm would come as a representative from the law firm. Ashley Robinson would be delivering the check. They claimed that they were in my area. My Mother, living in St. Thomas, Ontario, received a call that made her believe that she had won a new Mercedes and 1.5 Million from Publisher's Clearing House. She had been speaking with them on the phone. She called me to tell about her win. I told her to have this man call me. It was an 876 area code. He called me right away, and actually tried to convince me that she really had won. I asked him why someone needed to take her to the bank to pay a small fee. He said because he and a lawyer would take her there with paperwork to show the bank that it wasn't a fraud. I asked him why he was calling from Jamaica.. He gave some excuse that made no sense. I told him to call me back, and then told him to never call my Mother again, very forcefully, and that I was reporting him and his phone number.

I received a call from James Kingston (but sounded like a woman) with Publishers Clearing House yesterday around 5:00 p.m. I was told I had won 2.5 million dollars and that they would also pay off my credit card debt. I was then told I needed to pay $2,500 for taxes and shipping. That's when I knew it was a scam.
