the person called saying they're on behave of pubish clearing house so i can receive my prize and that that have been out to my house to attemp to get in contact with me to collect my winnings and that i was not at home so now they calling so i can receive 2.5 million in cash and awhite mecedes bez and in order for me to receive it they need to fill out the form over the phone with infor. about me the caller said that he is calling from washington but when i look up the number 1-575-936-5856 the info give me Demi, NM

It's 7.20.17, and I got 6 calls from a Jamaican phone number 876-476-5037 telling me I won The Publisher's Clearinghouse. He told me I needed to pay $500 for a fee to release the funds from Ohio. He said go to your nearest Western Union. He said I could call your bank and deposit $500 into your account so you can pull the fee from that. He said he would deliver the $5,800,000 by 3:30 pm today. He said I wouldn't get the whole thing because of Trump and taxes.

A man called my cell claiming to be David from Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes. He said, I had won $3.5 Million Dollars in the sweepstakes, however, he didn't know where I lived except Idaho and he was trying to disguise his voice. The Jamaican Accent is hard to miss. He didn't get far enough to con me out of money and got a little testy when I called his bluff.

The person on the phone said I won Publishers clearing house 2nd prize. 2 million dollars and a new car. He gave me information that I would need to give to the people that came to the door and then said I would have to go to the bank and get money from an account that he gave me the number for and get money in 50's and 100's to pay for the taxes.

I was called by someone with a very thick accent and using a phone number similar to the one my husband calls from (he's stationed in Afghanistan). The man claimed his name was Jack Miller, and that he represented Publisher's Clearing House. He claimed my phone number was found through one of the many stores I frequent, and I'd been randomly selected as the winner of a $5.7 million prize. He gave me a badge number, check number, confirmation number, and the name of a lawyer, Mary Lee (no phone) who'd already been assigned to me.

They told me I needed to go to Wal-Mart and pick up a store-to-store form, stayed on the phone with me for the entire drive, and insisted I not let on to anyone why I was there. Since they hadn't asked for any personal information or money yet, I agreed. Once I had the form, they finally mentioned they needed me to first send them $255 as a processing fee before I could receive my invitation receipt. They tried everything: do you have cash, a debit card, an ATM card, is your bank nearby? At this point I hung up.

The next morning, they called again three times. I didn't answer my phone, and by the third time I blocked the number. I thought that was the end of it, but later that day I got a call that came up on the caller ID as "Private." I answered, and it was them again, asking if I'd gotten the invitation receipt. I informed them that Publisher's Clearing House does not do business this way (I'd looked at the official website since the last call), and the caller still insisted I needed to get that receipt, the one I was supposed to pay nearly three hundred dollars for, right now. I hung up on them again, but this still may not be the end of it.

Answered call, person introduced themselves as "John Green," said they were with Publisher's Clearing House and asked "are you familiar?" And I said "Yes, and I actively don't participate." The caller hung up before I was able to finish my sentence and I realized I had said the word "yes," which I assume they recorded for malicious purposes.

Received e-mail from PCH yesterday did not open. Today received Private call on cell phone and was told I had won and to call 876-454-9433 and ask for Prize Team in Birmingham, AL. Was told to be home within 45 minutes for them to deliver prize to me. Did not call or go home. Wanted to report this scam to you.

Received a phone call stating I won the Publishers Clearing House sweepstake for $100,00 (first amount given) said I didn't have to purchase anything however I need to go to Walmart and get a money gram for $290(first amount) and place it under a camera at my house and give him the numbers off of it. Said they were 10 miles from my house. Then said they needed $300 something dollars before they arrive to give me my prize of $225,000 or the money would go to charity. Called back several times demanding I send the money or sign it over. Gentleman was very angry when I put him on three way with my sister. He did sound believable, talked about God and miracles also. Be very careful as the people will make you believe everything but Publishers Clearance House does not call nor do they request money, they don't even contact you prior to their arrival to your home.

I got a call on my cell phone and the guy (he had an accent) told me I won 2nd price in the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes. I supposedly won $350,000.00 and a Mercedes Benz. So I asked what I needed to do. He said I needed to register with the Federal Trade Commission and would have to pay a fee to do that. I asked how do I pay? Well, I could go to WalMart, etc etc to wire money to them. I reply, no, this is a scam and hung up. He called from Jamaica Phone# 876-356-6348.

got a call saying i won 3.5mil and a benz from PCH. gave me a number, name Robert Johnson, #FB-305 and i need to send $820 to them for the state attorney and will get that money back once they come to my house. they wanted me to go to walmart to get a gift card. the phone they gave me is disconnected. When they called me back, i told them about the disconnected number. Gave me an excuse about carrying so much money. They told me again to go to Walmart and get the money for them. They will give me the prize and my money back. I said that this is a scam and why do i have to give you the $820.

My husband also called the phone # but it goes to a Jamaican location.

I got a call (from Jamaica) saying I'd won 4.5 million dollars and a car. He gave me a package # and asked if I wanted to be a private winner or a public winner. I just had to buy a gift card from Amazon for $399. I said I couldn't afford it. He said he would talk to his supervisor. Seconds later he was back on the phone and said maybe $150 or $200 would be okay.

Caller stated I won $2.5 million and that I need to first pay 1%. I told him I don't have that kind of money, that my husband died and I only have Social Security for income, along with my life insurance policy. The caller then told me I could cash in my life insurance policy to pay the fee. I then reported the call to the BBB. Call is coming from Jamaica phone exchange

They'll say you won a large amount of money, have you take down seemingly necessary information, like a badge number. Then they'll say that the IRS is holding your winnings, and you need to pay a holding fee of .1%.

Received a phone call from someone representing publishers clearing house. They said I had won 2 million and a 2017 new car. I did not believe him and asked for a manager. Another guy comes on the phone and tells me my prize is in WI, and all I have to do is send $$ in the amount of $350.00 for shipping and handling. Then I would receive my prize. I told the guy to send my prizes and I will gladly pay him for their services when I get the stuff. Well. they didn't go for that! I hung up.

Scammer will say that their name is David Greyson, but the name JM Kingston will show up on your caller ID. conversation is that he is from publisher Clearing house and your phone number has come up as a winning number, ou have won 1.5 million dollars plus a new car. We are in your area today and will be coming to your house! THIS IS A SCAM!!!! DO NOT OFFER ANY INFORMATION TO THIS PERSON!!!!.

When I answered my phone, they asked for me. I asked who was calling, he said his name was Davis Sears, and then went into the dialog about being selected as a winner in the Publishers Clearing House for 1.7 million dollars. He spoke in a monotone like he was reading off a script, and asked at least 3 times if I had ever won from them before.

He had me write down some information, including a claim number, then asked me to go to an area convenience store to complete a form and pay $850 to register my winnings with the IRS, Chamber of Commerce, etc. He told me he'd wait on the line while I changed (I was painting at the time, and had old clothes on). So I checked PCH scams on line, relaized the number he was calling from was a Jamaica phone number so I hung up.

They have tried calling me back at least 4 times now even thougth they told me that if I lost connection with them, i would lose my prize money.

I have received several calls to my cell phone. Caller states it is Publishers Clearing House. Said I won $ 2.5 million. They told me I would need to go to Moneygram and send $100 for processing. I know it is a scam. I told them to stop calling. They call right back. they called from phone number 517-910-6793. They gave me a number to call 914-888-2431. I called the number. It was an automated system. They wanted me to enter an account and pin number they gave me. I did not enter any numbers. They gave me account number 852456 Pin number 6864. Callers name was Mr. Goodman.
