They called and said I had won the PCH sweepstakes and they trying arrange a time to bring your winnings and take pictures and will show up in a UPS truck and PCH vehicle. They wanted me to go to walmart and send money to the above address, they were going to call me back to find out how much money I could send them since I did not have all they were asking me for. They said that they could take the rest out of the check when it was delivered and they would ex court me to the bank to get it. The money was supposed to be 1% of the winnings for a registration fee

My 70 year old friend is receiving many calls from Publishers Clearing House. The number in my caller ID 876-773-5090. It is an unclaimed prize. He has to claim it. Did not request money. John Goldwater called from publisher's clearinghouse. He said i won second place which was $750,000. I asked him how I had won since i didn't enter and he fed me some story about a random drawing. I saw the phone call was from Jamaica. i asked him if this was a scam and he hung up. I called back he gave me some bull*** about how publisher's clearing house wasn't obligated to give me the money if I wasn't willing to cooperate. He made me write down the name of he company, the amount I won, a ticket number and some sort of claim number. He wanted to know my citizenship status, age, address, name, whether I was a member of aarp or triple a.

Guy Goes by the name James B, Says he is with Publishers Clearing House and that i won a random raffle for shopping at stores like Walmart, Walgreens, CVS and a couple other ones i dont remember. Said i won second place this month of a prize of over $10,000, a mercedes bins, a washing machine, a dryer, and a blender. BUT before i can have this shipped to me "tomorrow" i have to help him fill out a form and then i would have to pay 1% of the prize money which came out to $250 to even get it. they have been calling me over thenksgiving weekend and since then. i told them i do not trust them and they keep calling back and i havent picked up the phone for them since. they use UNKOWN NUMBER as well so i just dont pick up. when i did pick up thei first couple times they even had me talk to their "Manager" this isnt the first time I've gotten this kind of a call but eh, i only picked it up cause they first used the washington number. outside the country i'm not picking it up.

i did not play their game, no money lost, no information given out. just being harrassed by a company that "doesnt want to waste their time" looked up how people win PCH stuff and you have to enter, which i didnt. so, no harm done aside from needing the DO NOT DISTURB on so they cant wake me up when im sleeping or have my pocket vibrate through out my work day.

he also told me not to tell anyone i won, said his badge number was 33 33 US, and said they work with the FBI, and the IRS and can get my information through bills, and places i shop.
