I was changing out my annuities to buy gold and silver using my credit cards. I received a phone call saying I won an 8 million dollars lottery and a BMW custom made in Germany. I felt like I was drawn to a flame. All reasoning went out the window, He said I had to have 20:000 in my bank account. I was paying off some of the coins and he needed money to pay off expenses. I wrote three chech to his “agent”. I wrote one fo $8,095. The second one for $28,500 and the final for $25,000. Sent UPS overnight. Also $9,600 in cash wrapped in a magazine and set UPS. And another $2,400 wrapped in a magazine, he also wanted wire transfers through the bank.The man was James Carter, his agent was Norman Ratka. He got the checks. The wire transfers were to Karen Alexandra Brown. They did not go. Bank would not send them. Then James wanted two bank accounts. He then said he would get sponsors to help me get the 20,000 in my account. So I started receiving small amounts to put into my accounts. Then got two $8,000 checks. Deposited them one in each bank and they bounced. Both banks calling about being scammed. I did not want to admit it. Also as I bought coins on my credit cards and was getting coins. One of the final a credit card was 84,000. This is the one with the most problem, Other card $16,700. Mike C. From Chase Investigations called me and I told him the truth. He sent me to the police. I am still getting calls from James. Want me to open 2 more accounts. There was $1,500 transfer to my bank account. Yesterday the bank said the person wants it back. I told the bank no, that it is all a scam and I will not return it. I had gone to another bank and wire transfer to Lamar O. Duncan. One of the persons to get magazine money was Michael Webster, 11861 Summer Oak Drive, Germantown, MD 20874. Karen Alexandra Brown, 3635 Dominy Lane, Apt 512, Fort Worth, TX 76116. Bank of Texas. Alex Grant 1717 Mason Ave, Apt 435, Daytona Beach, Fl 32117. I got some more cash in the mail and I called the sheriff and he said do not go to new banks and hang onto the money. It is all a scam

A guy called my cell phone and identified himself as Angelo Miller from Publisher Clearing House. He said I won 2 million bucks. Asked me to write down some numbers:

code: 779842

Told me I had to get to a walmart and pay $500. to get a reciept which I would use to collect the prize money. He asked me to hang up and call him back. I did hang up but didn't call him back so he called me a 2nd time. I hung up.Have not heard from him again.

I knew it was a scam but I am reporting it to help others.

Phone call from "No Caller ID" Said I had won $850,000 but needed to do a Walmart to Walmart to Frances Pressley in Carry, North Carolina. Wanted $285. Gave me a cell number of 1-876-464-1852. Lots of other talk but that was the basics to convince me he was legitimate. Lots of "wanting to notify me of" different items. Good an explaining why. I asked several times for him to verify who I was with any info but he could not provide anything. Explained that he was separate from the delivery crew. Never asked for my personal info and seemed very professional and legitimate. Did mentioned that time was of the essence and wanted to get the process going and done. Said that I had been notified of this before but they had not heard anything back from me. Could not give me any details on this..... Has called me back a couple times but I have not answered. See below for all the info that he gave me.

I have/had filled out PCH a while ago and got what I thought was a call from them today telling me I won $950,000. I had to answer some questions which weren’t really anything against me or going into my private life and then I was asked to go to Walmart were I would get a card and put $299 on it. That’s when myself and my father knew it was a scam and immediately hung up the phone on them and are now contacting you.

I received an E mail and phone call from Publishers Clearing House. I play games online with Publishers Clearing House. They said it was from me playing online slot machines and scratch off tickets. The E mail stated I was a third place grand prize winner. I won $5000 a week for life. Also won a Ford Explorer. Stated not let this opportunity pass. I am set to be a billionaire. Wanted me to pay $200 for taxes on the truck by Western Union. I also received a message from Mark Zuckerberg on Hangout stating I won this prize. I did not send any money.

Called and said I had won 3 million dollars from publishers clearing house I needed to go to the bank and send them $10,000.00 for taxes his name was Dave shayer

It was an unknown number. Tried to give me some things I need to do with so much money. I told him I didn’t believe him, but he kept insisting that I had won 2nd place prize. I hung up.

I had entered PCH recently. Don’t know if he knew that or if it was random.

Said I won 2.6 million from publisher clearing house . He said his name is David Anderson . Asked for my address and full name to send me a certified check. I would be reviewing $5000. Weekly for life from pch. Gave me a badge number to call claim prize. Advised I had a choice of two types of deliveries either private or TV media . Needed approval with 2 forms of Id must include drivers license asked how far a Walmart or CVs was from me .

@7 A. M. In the morning I got a call and was told I had one The Publishers Clearing house and they person on the other end with accent said you've won 13 1/2 million dollars and proceeded to tell me all I had to do is send 850.00 dollars at that time I hung up.

Jeff King contacted the consumer claiming to be from Publisher Clearing House and the person was the winner of $11.5 million. The phone number used by the caller is 876.887.5247.

I received a call on my cell phone from Publishers Clearing House. The phone number in my caller ID was 876-471-5013. Caller stated I won $1.8 million Sweepstakes and a GMC pickup truck. He requested $500 for licensing through Money Gram. I did not send any money. I realized it was a scam when he mentioned the licensing fee. He gave me confirmation numbers to people who would deliver my prize. I am reporting the scam.

I received a phone message yesterday from Andy Goldberg who said he was the CEO of Publishers Clearing House. He was calling to tell me that I had won 2.5 million, plus a white Lincoln car. He emphasized that I should call him right away at 516-400-6299 so that I could receive the prize quickly. I did not return his call before I checked it out, and I saw on your website that there were other similar calls this week and what they were requesting.

PCH supposedly calling because I won 2nd prize. Needed me to send money to "Norman White" in Waterloo, NY. Guy one phone said he was Mark Goldburg, badge number: US90 and prize number: JR1933. Said I'd get my prize after I sent the money through Western Union. Called PCH and they said it was a scam.

Go to WalMart and get a card, put $55.00 on it. They stated they were Publishing Clearing House. I knew it was a scam. Call came from Jamaica.

I received a letter with a check enclosed saying that I had won the Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes. That the check was good - $6384.00; that it was a partial payment of $2 million. They gave a number to call and a security code.

I got a call from John Cooper who said I won $158,000 and a Mercedez Benz from Publisher's Clearinghouse. He said my ticket number was 079400, my receiving number was Reverence # 265401. His routing number is B2990. He asked me to mail $399 to Sandra Hobbit PO box 502, Carvallis, OR 97339. 876-823-0846. I told him I called Publisher's Clearinghouse, and he got really upset, he said not to tell him I talked to Publisher's Clearinghouse because he was Publisher's Clearinghouse.

I received a call today on my home phone from Publishers Clearing House. The caller stated I won $230,000. They said an attorney would contact me. A short time later a man called and said congratulations. I won $230,000. He said to call 202-991-2819 and ask for Andy Goldberg. I did not call the phone number. I am reporting the call.

I received a phone call from the Publisher Clearing House telling me I had won a million dollars, and wanting to asking me some questions. Then they wanted me to go to either Walgreens or Walmart to make a money order for $250.00. They then wanted me to call them when I was doing that so I could get the address to send them my money. The person who contacted me said his name was John Phillips.

called and said I had won a car and 1.2 million dollars. I would have to pay $575.00 to receive prizes. Did not give any money. Jonathan from ScamPulse.com called from 876-378-2514 number. 876-458-4679 stated that the call will be delivered, Beck Jones will be delivering keys to car and money.
