Automated phone call saying that they were trying to reach my mother. I returned the call because my mother is now deceased. The number that was left in order to retuen the call was someone named David Peterson who claimed to be an attorney. After speaking with him, he said that he didn't know how much my mother had won, it was after hours and a holiday, and he would send the information because as her beneficiary, I could receive her prize. I did offer an email address so that I could receive the supposed information he claimed had been sent to my mother via mail. I received the letter and of course the prize was 1.2 million and a car. All I had to do was to send $1800 for tax purposes.

I just received a call on my cell phone claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House. It showed restricted call. That is a red flag. There was no phone number in the caller ID. He said this is Publishers Clearing calling to tell you have won money. I told him to stop. You would notify me by certified mail. He said didn't you receive the checks. I said no. He said there are two certified checks in Toledo OH at Wells Fargo Bank. $10 million a piece. I have had these calls before. He kept saying this is not bogus. I am just letting you know you won. I said this is bogus. I told him to send a certified letter. I told him I had to go. He gave me a phone number to call him back. 740-486-4226. He said he was calling from Columbus OH. Also we have people in your area. that would stop by. In the Sandusky OH area. From what I understand Publishers Clearing House does not call. The call kept breaking up. Could be overseas.

The call came to my mobile phones *** ************ on December 16, 2022. It was an automated call saying I was the chosen winner in the Publishers Clearing Sweepstakes drawing for $10 million dollars plus $7,000 a week. I was given a claim number which I didn’t write but to contact Mr. Benjamin for the details. I checked Publisher's Clearing House website and they do not make any phone calls, emails, or send out any letters to any winner that have any sweepstakes from them.

Telephone call from Harvey Specter to inform me of my selection as Publisher Clearing house winner. Harvey Specter (badge #5130) stated that he has been appointed as my personal agent by PCH as I had not responded to either of the two notifications mailed to me. He gave me the physical address of 101 Winners Circle, Jericho, New York 11753, telephone number 917-631-7297.

I was told the identification for the prize package is Batch #EK9638256682, Package ID # 3523-1101-PCH-2100CA. I was told the prize consists of a cashiers check of $950,000. 00 being held in an escrow account at Bank of America, a 2022 Mercedes Benz S-Class, and $5,000.00 per month (to be deposited into a new bank account, that I needed to set up, the second Wednesday of each month) for the remainder of my life (then to be paid monthly to the beneficiary of my choice for the remainder of their life) and a one time payment of $10,000.00. Mr. Specter stated that the confirmation #0023694511FL was assigned by PCH Corp. Headquarters. Also, that an IRS form 1099 would be issued.

I requested copies of the documents to be emailed to me as I had not received anything through the United States Postal Service. Upon receipt of the documents I believe that I became aware of the request for $14,900.00. After doing research on the websites of the Corporations referred to, I became aware that this is a fraudulent scheme.

The scammer requested my financial institution information i.e. My routing number and my bank account number in order to make an IRS deduction from the funds that I was supposed to win 2.5 million and also to deposit the necessary funds of my winning in that account.

I was contacted by phone from Publishers Clearing House that I won $2.5 million dollars. I was told the company was requesting $3350 for insurance of the winnings in case the check gets lost in the mail. I was told to contact Paul Dennis for any additional information, but there was no phone number indicated to call. I was told I also won a Mercedes.
