Reverend Tony Brown Informed me of winning 3.5 million dollars & a Rolls Royce. Items would be delivered that day . I needed to get in my vehicle right then & go to Walmart, Walgreens or Dollar General & purchase registration cards he would stay on the phone & instruct me! Said don’t tell anybody about your winnings because they would be jealous! I hung up - he continued to call three more times, my son answered one time & talked pretty ruff to him, he still called! We just stopped answering! Don’t know how he intended on getting the cards from me! He new my name my husbands name & our address when he called

Got a letter saying it was from Publishers Clearing House. Said I won 2.600.000 and that I had to buy insurance before the delivery of my price winnings.

Return address on envelop is P.O. Box 4965, Dublin 18

Where a stamp would normally be says the postage was paid in Baile Atha Ciath, in a box under that it says, Ceadunas 330

Informed that I won 2nd prize in Publishers Clearing House drawing of two million five hundred thousand dollars. They wanted me to send them three thousand fifty dollars to cover taxes, fees, etc. I informed him the bank & ScamPulse.com would take the fees out of the winnings. They wanted fees up front. No way!

My mother keeps getting calls and FB messages that she has won millions. She just needs to give them information and or filling out forms that are about personal information. In other words identity theft. I have reported this to the FTC and to the NYS Attorney Generals Office. I need help.

Consumer received letter purportedly from Publishers Clearing House that indicated they had won a monetary prize. The letter fraudulently reported that the FTC and ScamPulse.com have verified the legitimacy of these winnings.

This person called my elderly mother and told her that she had won on Publisher's Clearing House. He said his name was Albert Johnson at the above phone number. My mother asked me to call him. When I called, he said he represented PCH and told me I was wasting his time and hung up on me twice. I believe it was a complete scam. The person appeared uneducated regarding PCH.

My father is a victim of a recent scam from individuals claiming to be from the Publisher’s Clearing House. He sent over $72,000 in cash in multiple payments of what he thought represented taxes and fees. He sent most of his savings, cashed out retirement accounts and took the maximum cash advance from his credit card. I became his POA in order to be able to research the activity. In doing so, I discovered monthly payments going to two or more businesses at the same address, none of which he recognizes or remembers being contacted by.

Received a letter from an attorney in Canada claiming to have life insurance and PCH winnings for a relative that is unknown to be. They sent a check for $9356.62 that was to help pay for the taxes on the winnings.

Caller introduced himself and said l had won 2nd prize in a contest. I noticed he had a very heavy accent. After hearing his introduction, I told him to send me a certified letter and I would respond to him. He asked if the email address was right. It was an old one, so I confirmed it. He then sends an email stating what he had already said plus other details. I noticed there were x's over a place that should've been a name, address, and money amount I was expected to pay. Before I had a chance to read the entire email, I received 4 calls from the same number. I never answered those. I was told to call back when I finished reading the email. I didn't.

A person claiming to be from PCH called & claimed i won the prize, saying that i needed to call Albert Johnson at 320-321-7708 to claim it. "Albert" then claimed that Steve Harvey would meet me at my home, with prizes! He said all I would have to do is give them a gift card with $950. They stressed that I am not to tell anyone about this.

Victor and David smith of Publishers Clearing House. Claiming award winner and advance cash to the state of Idaho to claim your prize. I actually went to bank after they said I would not have to give them any money only a receipt. Very convincing until they want you to go to Walmart to do a wire to wire transfer.

Recieved phone call saying I won $950,000 and a 2021 Ford Explorer from Publishers Clearing House. They said I had to pay shipping on the vehicle. Told me to get a money order for $399.00. Had to mail it and provide receipt to delivery drivers.

Person gave his name as Andrew Tweedy. Said the prize was $750,000 plus a pick up truck. But I had to pay $200 for the truck. Person kept calling back.

Today I received the call many are hoping to receive. I was the lucky CHOSEN one.

I won the $5,000.00/week Publisher’s Clearing House……….

The PCH Team in is in Kaukauna, WI, and heading to my home in Madison. I received the call so I had time to be ready for them, but still look surprised. The person that called me was Dave Morgan, his employee number is 217CZ7DM, phone number 325-307-2744 (area code 325, some place in Texas).

He was so pleased to have reached me, to share the good news. Dave continued to talk about this will be handled. Something like this:

$5,000.00/week for life. That will start this Friday with a certified check, about $2.9 million.

Today when the TEAM comes, I would receive a cash bonus of $14,000, all in $100.00 bills. The TEAM will drive me to my financial institute so we can all sign off, and deposit MY check. There is a tax charge. Also, a tow truck will be delivering my new car, 2020 Mercedes Benz, color: wine red, interior is white leather. He stressed how that will be delivered today, and all the security alarms the car has and how safe it will be where ever it is. Any one walks toward it I will receive and alarm.

He stressed how happy he was to be the one to contact me. I continued to tell me how nice it was to talk to such a pleasant person, knowing how excited I am. He reminded to try and stay calm, and asked if I wanted a television crew with the TEAM or be confidential? I told him I would like to keep it confidential. He reminded me many, many times, so I didn’t tell ANYONE about our conversation. He told me Steve Harvey will be the lead person, and make sure I wear a mask and use hand sanitizer. I said….I like Steve Harvey, he’s so happy all the time.

When the TEAM showed up, I would need 3 of the following:

Personal identification – driver’s license, passport, etc.

He gave me my CODE to give them, and we repeated that to make sure I had it written down correctly.

Government Liability Card – I have to pay the taxes on the $14,000 (all the $100.00 bills). That would be $500.00 TODAY….when the TEAM comes.

To help with the $500.00, go to a CVS or Walgreens and get a “Vanilla Gift Card” for $500.00. Make sure I have the receipt to give the TEAM, and then the card. To help with this process he asked for the 16 digit number on the gift card. He would give this number to the TEAM, to verify everything. I told him, I’ve heard of this scam, and hung up. He called me back…this time I saw a phone number and wrote it down 876-571-4902 Kingston..something like that. I looked up the area code “876” Jamaica. He told me he was serious about me being chosen, and he was a deacon at his church, he would not lie, and was a truthful person. I let it ride…and went along… The first phone call, no number appeared and I usually don’t answer them. I let my answering machine record.

He asked if we were on my cell phone or home phone. I told him, my home phone, I didn’t have a cell phone.

I decided to go with his scam. I told him I would go to Walgreen’s get the gift card. He asked how long it would take, I said about 30 minutes. He said, he would call me back then to make sure everything was fine before the TEAM showed up.

I went to Walgreens, bought the $500 gift card (+6.95 fee) and came home. Shortly he called, we talked he continued to be very polite, friendly…THEN…he asked for the 16 digit number on the gift card. That is when I let him have it……I knew of this SCAM, and hung up. He never called back, that day, BUT did call me back early next morning, I did not answer. I let my machine get it. His message said it was Dave Morgan with the 325 area code.

Gift card is gone…thank a friend.

He was very, very polite, caring, he knew what he was doing, and he is very good at this. I knew his English was not clear, but easy to understand.

Called me by phone. He said I won a publishers clearing house prize. I had to get an eBay gift card to pay the registration. After giving them the number they kept wanting me to get another card for fees. I finally figured it was a scam. It appears I have no way to get my money back

I got a call from James Patterson, badge # 053455 from Publisher's Clearing House. He said I had won $1.5 million and a 2021 Ford pickup truck. He said he was affiliated with JP Morgan. He had an Indian accent. He asked if I was married or single. He asked me what I would do with the money. He gave me a CN number. He asked if I wanted it to be public or private. The call came from Kingston, Jamaica. I asked if this was a scam. He said it wasn't. He said he would call NY to get the numbers I need. He said he would call back.

The person said they were from Publishers Clearinghouse . He called from (208-342-4649). He told me I had won 3.5 million dollars and a new Ford pickup. He wanted to confirm my address in Boise. I don't live in Boise so he wanted my new address to deliver my new Ford.I told him I needed to confirm what he is telling me is true. He gave me a phone number to call (208-845-8309) . I did not call the second number. At this point I called the ScamPulse.com , I have not received a call back from the ScamPulse.com yet.

I was contacted by a friend through Facebook that she had won $80,000 through Publishers Clearinghouse. When they delivered her the money she noticed my name on the list of winners. This friend told me I could win this money if I would “friend” a Carol Mott Fitch on Facebook and then message her.

I did just that. Ms Fitch said she had to check my Facebook account she said everything checked out. She told me that I had to pay her $500 to get my winnings. Then she asked where I lived (my address) my phone number, and my email address. I was told I could go to Winco and get five $100.00 gift cards to pay her.

I was skeptical so I talked to my friend and asked her if this was legitimate. I then asked her to give me a photo of check for $80,000. She sent me a photo of of the cash she got

My wife received a call this morning stating that she was chosen to receive a prize award from Publishers Clearing House in the amount of $5.5 million. She has never entered their contest. The caller (who spoke with an accent) gave us his name and phone number. We were very skeptical, but the caller was very persistent even after we said we would decline to participate in the offer. Then he said we would also receive a bonus of $7,000 per month for the rest of our lives and a Mercedes Benz auto. We again declined the offer and ended the call. Then we received a call from his supervisor asking us to accept the award. After almost an hour we again declined the offer and ended the call. They had our correct name and address, but no other information.

After Thanksgiving 2020, someone named Dean Winter called saying he was calling from Publishers Clearing House. I know they do not call potential winners. He even said something about me shopping at Walmart, which I rarely do, and said something about me writing him a check for about a hundred and twenty something dollars. I missed the other two calls and voicemails. Thank God.
