Publishers Clearing House(PCH) - Imposter Reports & Reviews – Page 17 (819)

I wanted to report phone calls I have been receiving for about a year on my cell phone. They call from publishers Clearing House. Also Mega millions. So many I cannot remember all the names. State I won $5.7 million and a luxury car. I said if I won why don't you send my prizes to me. Caller said I did not pay the fees. When I asked questions the caller used profanity. I told him to get a job. First they wanted me to send $500 and then $1200 for taxes. Told me the fee is not that much. I said I am not sending any money. His name was David Monroe with Publishers Clearing House. He gave me phone number 516-252-9974. My caller ID showed 876-919-3225 which is a Jamaican number. I know these calls are scams and did not send any money.

I had a voicemail from a man named Dave Sayer and he said he was calling from the Publishers Clearing House. He said I won a car and $800 million. He told me I could call him back at 917-383-3412. I called him back and he told me I needed to go to the store and put $1,500.00 on a Vanilla gift card. I told him I didn't have that type of money, he asked how much I could do and I told him possibly $1,000.00, he said ok he would try to get his supervisors approval.

I was called by someone representing themselves as Publisher's Clearinghouse, using a name of someone who actually works for Publisher's Clearinghouse.

They told me that they had sent me a prize package and I said I didn't get it. They said I had won 2nd prize, 2.5 million dollars and a 2022 Mercedes Benz. I said I don't want the Mercedes and they said that's all right. I said I would like to get an older Mercedes instead and they said to find one and I could call them about it. I called them back about a car I found and they said they would buy the car for me and have it shipped and will hold it for me.

After they asked for my driver's license information I became uncomfortable and said I would not give them any more information and hung up.

I called Publisher's Clearinghouse and they told me they only use 800 numbers and they don't call people.

I received a call from Publishers Clearing house on my cell phone. Callers name was Keith Jackson. He gave an ID number. He said I won $5000 a weak for life. 18,500 by certified check and a 2022 Mercedes Benz. He gave me a ticket and code number. Four people will come to my home and deliver my prizes. I have to gett back to them. They will pay most of the taxes on my prizes. I have to pay $950 or 1%. This did not sound right to me. They wanted me to pay with an American Express Card. They gave me thre stores to go to. Walgreens and CVS. I don't remember the other store. I did not send any money or buy a card. The phone number in my caller ID was 607-800-4203. When Publishers Clearing House comes to your house, I should not have to pay money for taxes.

I was contacted by phone saying I had won $17million and the caller wanted to deliver 'my cheque' to me today!

They wanted to come to my home. I do not know whether they had my address.

I told the caller to put paperwork relating to my 'win' in the mail, but he refused and became rude and argumentative!

When I repeated to him to put the paperwork in the mail to me he YELLED AT ME TO 'SHUT UP'!

I immediately hung up the phone.

I was contacted by phone, Sunday evening by someone claiming to be the Chairman of Publisher's Clearing House. His name was David (I didn't get the last name). He said I had won a 2022 Mercedes Benz convertible and 24 million dollars. Then he put his boss on the phone, who gave me a number to call for a wire transfer 4805081562 and press option #2. Then I was supposed to call them back @ 5072035915, after I made the call that I of course did not do. They are still waiting for someone to call them back. I get these call at least once a week. I just don't want anyone to get scammed by them.

I received two calls from Publishers Clearing House. Caller said I won $4.5 million. He wanted $7435.91 for taxes. Wanted me to go to the bank and withdraw the money. He asked for my bank card number. I said that ain't happening. Callers name was Dave Carter. He gave phone number 585-401-7198. I called them back on that number. I had seen Publishers Clearing House in my caller ID. I knew it was a scam when they wanted money. I should not have to pay a fee for a prize. I told them to send a check and take the $7335.91 fee out of that. They refused. I told him not to call again. He called right back.

A Tom Spencer called me from a blocked number and told me I won 3.5 million and a red Mercedes Benz that he would personally have delivered to me and 7500 a week! What a joke since I moved to FL and not in SC anymore he would have to take a helicopter to FL and the state marshal would have to approve and it would cost 153.96 bucks for that. He put God in the picture and talked to me about how he sorry that I’m having such a time because my husband died. This needs to stop because people like me don’t have the strength to bring up bad memories like that and I’m trying to take care of my children by myself now because of my husband’s death I am alone now.

2. 5,ooo dollars a month

3. A 2022 Mercedes Benz

The catch was she was asked to pay 15oo.oo upon delivery of the car.

She did notice that the caller ID said Kingston, Jamaica.

Received mail 01/31/2022. In envelope was a check for $8697.30 a congratulations letter with 5 paragraphs stating what to do. Call money manager and accountant they said throw away. Do not cash check was a scam. Investigated names and addresses on letter check and envelope. On 02/01/2022 called PCH they said it was a scam and got me to the PCH scam dept. The person there was not helpful or caring telling me his computer cannot take some of the information I pointed out a d they work closely with the FTC. He got little upset when I ask him what I was a little lost on is how the scammers could get the name the address and PCH connected we never bought anything from PCH.Do they sell there list? I also called ScamPulse.com informed them ask for advise as we want the public to know how sophisticated the scams and also let the businesses know that the scammers are using their name and logos and addresses. I could only scan in the letter the envelope and check could not be scan in please call if you want pics on check and enveloped. I investigated everybody.
