I have 4 years of exp as Quality assurance engineer. I Applied On linkedIn for a job posted for Quality assurance engineer. Got an email from [email protected] that my resume has been shortlisted and with the email there was an attachment saying QA_screen.docx, which had valid job related questions. I filled and send that screening document. A few days later i was hoping to get an interview call, instead i got a direct job offer offering me remote position with 80/hr and 65$/hr while 3 months training.

They asked me my personal details and valid id which i shared and also asked me my bank account details directly without going for employment verification, telling me that they will send me a cashiers check for the amount that i need to buy laptop, monitor, printer, wifi router, ssd , etc to fulfill my day to day job duties. This seemed fishy to me and i did not proceed further. I am writing here so that to help people like me not to get scammed by these fake job offers.
