I was contacted by Marcus Brown at extension 8401 with Prosper Financial, who said he could help me get a loan. I did give him my banking information (routing and account number). He attempted to run a check through my account, but my bank caught it and did not process it. I have spoken to the bank about this and asked that they monitor my checking account. It appears that this company is not real and they tried to scam me. I am also contacting the FTC.
