I got a phone call about a personal loan, and they were calling me from Quick Loans out of New York, I asked them what number I could call them back, and they gave me the number they were calling me from. I searched for Quick Loans and not one of the numbers that they gave me 646-927-0261 shows it from Quick Loans, I did pay .95 cents, and shows that it's a landline. I don't think this is a legit quick loan company. So, be careful, they had all my information, and they were admitted to trying to get me to get my account number, they had my routing number, which was scary.

Caller asked for my daughter by name, when I said she had the wrong number, she asked to speak with me. She told me she was contacting me in regards to a "business matter" and asked me to verify my date of birth. I asked her where she was calling from and for clarification as to why she was calling. She told me they sent me a letter last week as to what this was in regards to. I asked who they were again and asked what CPC was. The woman became agitated and responded that they were located in Minnetonka, MN and that I could look them up online, but that they really needed my birth date or to verify the last 4 of my social security before they told me anything. I told her that was not going to happen and she told me that she would just keep reaching out my daughter. I ended the call.

I am receiving Messenger notifications via Facebook to apply for a government program to receive, a grant (lots of money). I am getting these notifications again, and again and again. I am also getting messages from my sister-in-law whose account she said was hacked. I am getting notifications from a Zoe Fletcher, an agent with the Department of Labor, again and again, still, to supply my name and home address. I haven't sent my address.

I received an unsolicited text message for a product/service that is an alternative therapy to one recently prescribed to me by my doctor. I have not been targeted for this type of therapy prior to my doctor's prescription which signals to me that my personally identifiable (HIPPA protected) health information has been illegally obtained by this third party and used for marketing purposes.

Someone called my 85 year-old mom and asked if she bought certain items from Amazon. She said no, and they said they were connecting her to federal agencies who were going to help her protect her money in order to catch the criminals who were going to steal her money if she didn’t work with these “government” officials. They told her she should wire them money so that they could keep it safe. She made two wire transfers totaling approx $150,000.

Multiple phone calls a day all from phone numbers starting with 719-223-xxxx. Never leave a message - when you call back it says "thank you for calling us back". Blocking a number doesn't help since the last 4 digits of the phone number change with every call.

I received a text message containing a photo of a wine bottle I replied that this was a wrong number , the person told me she is Chinese living in nyc doing business close to my town and wanted to become friends . Asked for my what’s ap and what I did for a job ….. then I blocked it

they keovep calling and I've asked them to stop many times. They say they are calling to see if I'm interested in a GSA contract with the gov. I am on the darn federal DO NOT CALL list which is useless as all get out as far as I'm concerned. This lady that called today, Olinda, did not have any type of accent and gave me a Delaware phone number of 3025412469

I received a call from a person who identified as Chelsea White. She identified herself with the Process Service Verification office and she told me she wanted to speak with a person that was my son's name, and that there is a complaint out on him and there was an attempt to serve him with papers. I identified myself as his mother (no name) and asked for more information. She said the address they had on file was an old address where we did live years ago, and she gave me the last numbers of an SS # which were correct. But they were NOT my son's, but his father's (who is a Sr., and not my son who is a Jr.)

I believe I could have verified the whole SS # to her, but am not sure. She said to pass this message along to my son or ex-husband that they had one hour to respond to call the below # or she will mark her file accordingly.

I searched google for an Antique buyer near me that was open this morning. It came up with "Antique & Estate Buyers" located in Lindenhurst. I quickly selected the call button and at 10:31 AM it dialed " 516.974.6528" No one picked up; so I hung up. At 10:43 AM I received a call from same number stating they were the business and if I called and needed assistance. I said I wanted to know if they were looking to buy an antique piano chair. They asked me what town I live in "Massapequa"; they could come today at 1pm; and he listed other items they would be interested in; if I had anything to make it available. He asked me for my address; I gave it. He confirmed, if this was a good number to reach me, I agreed. I dialed the number 2x - 1:48PM & 1:59PM no response. Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews until after the guy was an hour late to meet at my house to price the item.... They suffered the same. When I searched the address it comes up with 27A Brewing Company. I complained using google's review. I'm contacting you as well... I don't want this happen to anyone else.
