This alleged company had called the business line to my company **** Industries from phone # 802-428-4305 claiming that they had cheaper office supplies than anywhere else. They had asked about what kinds of supplies that we typically order and offered to send a pamphlet of the products that they offer. What instead arrived was an entire toner cartridge that they are now trying to charge us for. That we did not agree to have shipped.

They called and asked if I would be interested in a catalog for discounted supplies and said yes and then they sent an invoice for supplies I didn't receive. They said they signed me up for a free trial and then tried to make me pay for an invoice for things we never received.

I received a call from an Eastern Workplace Solutions representative who said they were sending us an office supply catalog and office supplies to try and if we liked them to place an order from their catalog, but the supplies were free. Then they sent us an invoice for $244.69 with a note that it was sent on a 15 day trial and to pay $69.95, which is not what the representative said on the phone. He said they were free and that if we liked the product to order from the catalog.

Cold caller calls to offer free catalog and samples. Hands off to another person who gathers information for the sample but they start calling it a trial. They infer they are sending you free samples, but it's a trial period where if you don't reach back out to them to tell them you don't like it (there's no way to contact the person), you are then billed for the items. They are predatory and deceitfully worded.
