They were claiming to be associated with an actual business in California. But it turns out the business does not exist in this state (Burlington, VT) and the real business is in no way associated. They text messaged claiming they would deliver in 20 minutes asked for payment via AppleCash or Venmo. The AppleCash option didn't even work, which should have been our first clue, but have had similar issues with REAL businesses, so it didn't send a red flag. Then when we asked where they are, after the allotted time had passed, they said something about the order being processed as a Medical Card order instead of a recreational order. Then said they couldn't cancel the order or payment. We assume they were simply waiting for the payment to process, so they kept us "on the line".
