received an email from service@paypal saying: Chen Zheng sent you a money request with payment request details as follows: Amount requested: $399.99. Note from Chen Zheng: Your payment of $399.99 to TREND MICRO LLC appears to have been unauthorized. If you did not make this transaction contact us @ 888-279-2734, Transaction ID: U-2BD73594V4985544A, Transaction date: January 11, 2023. I decided to log into my Paypal account and did see the request, I then declined the request. After declining it, I called the number and spoke with a female. I told her what happened and she said just declining the request wasn't sufficient as the scammers have all of my information as they hacked my account. Therefore, she told me I needed to go to website: www/anydesk.com and download the information to my computer. I told her that didn't make any sense as Paypal has a direct security department that I can access from my Paypal account and this must be a scam and then she hung. I did report to Paypal and decided to close my account just to be on the safe side of things.

I got a notification from PayPal that stated I had an invoice due of $449.00. I haven't used this app in over 3 months so I initially disregarded it.

Eventually, I did look at the notification and saw there was a number to call in case of possible fraud. I called it and a man, named Carl, answered

and convinced me that someone was tracking and hacking my account. He had me download an app called AnyDesk Remote Desktop, which I

realized later was how he was seeing all I was doing. He had me log into my Navy Federal Account, and then had me create a profile on Wise.com

which required me to validate my driver's license. I got a few emails from that company that stated a canceled transaction of $1775. My bank, Navy

Federal, called me twice during this whole process and that guy named Carl said that it was a scam and not to answer my phone from them. He

also had my submit a payment, to catch the suspected fraudster as he stated, of $499 to my PayPal account as well, no money went through.

PayPal doesn’t use an 808 number. If you call it they will try to record your words like “yes”. I swiped up and called PayPal. They cancelled the request. They are targeting peoples email addresses. Not sure how they got mine.

I received an invoice from PayPal for Google Playrecharge and the cost was $399.99. I called the number on the letter and reached a guy that was going to help me dispute the charges. He had me download an app called Anydesk. I did that and right away I knew it was a scam as that app tells you people can access your emails and even money. I told the guy it was a scam he then denied and I hung up.

I was told my ss number was compromised, purchases were made in my name and I would be arrested fir fraud if I didn't cooperate! They had me send target gift cards, wire transfers for real estate purchases and cash transfers thru walmart

I received a scam email from PayPal. Email [email protected] Amy Johnson. Something about a $599 payment to auto pay system. To cancel call 808-646-5144 or 866-523-5863. I did not call either number. I do not use PayPal.

They said purchase was submitted and paid by PayPal and I would be getting billed.RE PAYMENT ID:Y38SU961NU2V& for AMD Ryzen TM 8 core Processor 77700xoave ordered 11/28 R3V8129vzl $348.99. I called number listed 888-975-2710 if you did not order this and I got an unintelligible man not speaking English and told him I was reporting him to the ScamPulse.com and he said (redacted by ScamPulse.com Staff) you and I hung up.

10-22-2022 received a statement from PayPal showing my account activity. I do not have a PayPal account nor did I make any of the indicated purchases.

10-24-2022 called PayPal to confirm I do not have an account with this company.

I received an Email that seemed to be from PayPal. I clicked on the Email. I do use PayPal. It showed invoice $1223.83.

I called PayPal at the number I have for them. I do not owe anything. PayPal said I do not owe and probably a scam. I called the phone number on the email. 701-291-7155. I said I am reporting you to the Better Business Bureau. They hung up. There is an address on the email. 36 Cloverdale Shelton, CT 6484. The zip code was only four digits.

I recieved the attached email and called the number they gave to me. I spoke with foreigners that I could barely understand. They directed me to go to Teamviewer.com and to download their website. When that failed, they asked me to go back to my email. When I told them I no longer had a Paypal account and that I felt they were a SCAM, he reasssured me that because I was allowed onto the website via Google Chrome, they were a legitimate account. When I continued with further questions, he spoke in another language to someone else and abruptly hung up on me. I have listed the phone number for you. This has to be stopped!!!!!

This is the second time in two months I have received this email that says my order has been placed for Bitcoin from my PayPal account. The to line is to paypal no reply and I an bcc. There is no subject line. With all the missing information i knew it was a scam but wanted to alert others.

Received the message below. Everything about the email looked very legit (including the address for paypal), but the e-mail address they used for me does not have a PayPal account associated with it.

I got an invoice from PayPal saying that they were gonna charge my account and that a business account credit line was established with PayPal and that it was about $5,500 in fee and they told me to me to that they have to verify my location and I had to buy a gift card I did not think anything about being scam until they told me not to call the police and talk to them about it until the issues resolved and that’s when I realize I was being scam

Some criminal element living around my apartment area fraudulently used both my personal email to process a fake PayPal order by copying and pasting something from some trash emails she / he stole from someone else's trying to extort mone from me. That crook went so far as to set up a fraudulent email on Google by using my name and stringing it together. This is both a felonious identity theft and an attempt at extortion. They all think this is a game and that I will be stupid enough to call those crooked cops that are responsible for harassing me both at this apartment and at my home and file yet another stupid identity theft as well as criminal case only to be lied to and told its a "civil" matter. They let these people setup these illegal fake companies and fake email accounts with anonymity and think I will was time chasing it down for an order that does not exist for me. They keep trying to extort money from me using all kinds of tactics just because these criminals came back into the area and have relatives that refuse to stop harassing and who refuse to get a job like any other person. No one told them to get pregnant and to drop out of school and think they'll get a free ride off of other people or use up their I'll gotten inheritance and then think they can gang up on someone like trying to extort and take advantage of me sitting around trying to come up with get rich schemes like that insurance scam she / he ran when that relative died!

This morning, I purchased an inexpensive product from hellomerch.com. A few hours later, I received a bogus email purportedly from PayPal (which I did NOT use for the earlier purchase. The scam email came from Doris A.Clark at [email protected]. The message used all my correct contact information identical to the name I used for the hellomerch.com purchase. It’s not a name format that I use frequently; however, it is my legal first & last name.

This phone number is insisting they are through PayPal and sent me an invoice for a purchase of $511 when I don’t even have a PayPal account. I opened the email not knowing what it was and clicked on the phone number. I hope it was not their way of opening my phone because when I questioned them as to the last four digits of the supposed account number they hung up on me

I received an email with my full name and street address listed stating I had made a purchase using my PayPal account and it was in process to be shipped. There was a note stating the following:

"Note: if the order is placed without your authorization on have any question, you can call our 24/7 helpline number given bilow."

There was obviously miss spellings in the email. Not to mention I haven't used a Paypal account in 10+ years. I just dont want anyone to fall for this because it took me a minute to catch that it was a scam because they listed my full name and complete correct street address. I second guessed it, but once I really looked at it thoroughly I could see it was not valid.
