Sandra Busta advertised herself on Craigslist as a graphic designer who designs logos, and she has a website with several examples of her work. I asked her to design a logo for me, and she said it would be $99, and she accepts payment through Zelle. I sent her the money, and she wrote back two e-mails saying she received it and was working on my logo. However, when I did not hear from her for a while, I began e-mailing her to ask when it would be done, and she never e-mailed back. It has now been several weeks, and she has stolen my $99 and not given me any designs.

I ordered a Canon AE-1 camera from them in May of 2024. As of this point I still have not received my product. I have tried calling the business number listed and always been sent straight to voicemail. I have also texted this number many times and have been responded to off and on. The text messages were basically ones trying to put my mind at ease until I forgot about my order altogether. I have multiple screenshots from these conversations. This business has been reposted 2 other times for the same thing.

The website advertises $28.99 to unlock a phone. Once that is paid, they ask for another $50 for premium unlock. After paying, they say they negotiated a settlement with the carrier and ask for additional payments. (385 in my case).

In my case, I have no outstanding with my carrier. I paid all fees and penalties yet this business insists I have an outstanding of $585, which they negotiated down to $385 with my carrier.

So long story short, they'll not unlock the phone without paying $385 and will not issue a refund for amount I already paid to unlock.

Hikelax sold me two pairs of so-called "Multifunctional waterproof and tear proof tactical pants" size 32 waist length 32. The pants are incorrectly designed - The wearer is unable to walk or even move his / her legs the slightest bit. Contacted the company for a return. Oddly, they required pictures of what I ordered before considering granting the return - This was the first indication something was wrong. They eventually offered a 3% refund for pants never used.

Lazy Squire Games is a company that develops and publishes board games that consumers may "back" to offer funding for the project and later receive a product. I'm currently involved with two projects from this developer: Stormsunder and Wild Assent - Lavon Rising. Stormsunder was successfully funded on March 5, 2020, while Wild Assent - Lavon Rising was successfully funded on June 29, 2021. Today is August 16, 2024 and there seems to be no clear timeline for when the product will be released. Many backers and myself are deeply concerned that Lazy Squire Games won't deliver on their original promise, as they continue dragging their feet with fluff updates without any substantial information regarding timeline or fulfillment of the project. I proceeded to look up Lazy Squire Games on the Better Business Bureau website and the company does not exist. I am deeply concerned that this may be a scam.

The website said if I signed up for multiple offers from their website I would earn cash doing this. Today I attempted to log in to see where about my cash out was and I received an error when I attempted to log in stating that what I had done was considered fraudulent and all this stuff and they gave me a permanent ban. I did everything they said I signed up for all these different things I did didn't pay a huge amount of money but $100 to me is a lot of money. They attempted to take much more of that for me but I canceled the subscriptions they forced me to sign up for before I could be charged a huge amount for a yearly subscription. I want it known that this website is a scam it's a total utter scam.

I bought a subscription for 12 monthly snacks. I received 4 (December, January, February, March). Since then, none have been received. This is 5 months now that I did not get any. I keep asking about this via email and get repeated answers "they're on the way". I tried calling a number on the website 888-861-9727 and it is listed at "unreachable".

I was attempting to have a defective product replaced that I purchased through Amazon Prime. I was trying to communicate online with a company called Gigalumi and they manufacture Solar Pathway lights. During the process I was somehow redirected to the Justask.com site. At that point I thought I was still communicating with Gigalumi. They made it seem like I was asking for support on my product through Gigalumi. I filled out a form online under the pretense that I pay 1 dollar and that they would refund it shortly. Luckily my credit union flagged the attempted transaction for $55 for a subscription to Justask.com. So my credit union had to cancel my debit card. Now of course I have to get it replaced with a new card with a new number, which is always a hassle because it is connected to other legitimate venders including Amazon. This is false advertising at the least and attempted robbery and fraud at worst.

A scammer contacted me about an item I was selling on Facebook Marketplace. She asked me to text her at (614) 618-5570 and the response was from Anna.

“ I want pick it up, Please text my cell#Sorry text my number (614) 618-5570 Because i will not be active on here.”

I texted her and gave her my address.

She asked to pay Venmo, but I said cash.

Next she replied “ okay i can pay cash for my safety can i send 6 digits code to make sure you are real.”

A code was sent from 22000 asking me to provide the Google verification code.

That is when I got suspicious. I asked her to call me on FaceTime or Messenger and I would show her the Weedwacker I am selling.

She persisted, and said “ actually lot of scam If your post is real,

“Can you send me the code?mer in here. Your phone massage check from 22000”

Then I googled “real seller verify code” and learned about this scam.

Purchased an extended car warrant from them. Have filed 3 claims for engine repair over the last 3-4 years. Each and every one of the claims were initially denied. The first one they did eventually pay, but only after three days of phone conversations and arguments about the parts not being covered, and then when they did approve the part, they would only pay for an after market cheapest part available to replace the bad one. This whole Endurance Warranty company is a scam. It,s next to impossible to file a claim, and then it gets disapproved anyway. What did I pay $2,528.90 for?

PLEASE HELP!!!!

On June 3, 2024, I made an online reservation with what appeared to be a legitimate business. I prepaid $333.00 with my Visa credit card to the business for the rental of 4 e-bikes on the afternoon of July 5, 2024. I received an email receipt with a confirmation number—all of my reservation information was correct. When we arrived at the business address shown on the email receipt, it turns out there was no business located there. When I called the phone number on the email receipt, they said they didn’t have any bikes for us. Then they said their payment vendor’s website was not working, so they could not reimburse my credit card. I then exchanged several phone calls and texts with them about getting my money back. After many hours, they claimed to have processed a refund to my credit card. One week has passed and they still have not refunded my money. I have disputed this claim with my credit card company and am seeking reimbursement that way. I suspect they are a fraudulent company.

I have attempted to make Amazon aware of the deceptive practices of one of their sellers under Sec 43 (a) of the Lanham Act for misleading advertisement. I am not confident my complaint has been addressed so I’m elevating it to the BBB.

I recently ordered a 6-Pack of LA Looks Sport Xtreme Hold 20 oz bottles. I received one. (I could not get customer service to agree to send me the remaining 5 to complete my order, only a refund). On the surface, this would seem to be a minor fullfillment issue at the warehouse and easily resolved by the customer service team. However, I believe there is a much bigger problem than this small example.

After this fulfillment issue, I went back to the reviews for the product. I counted 18 times in the first 6 months of 2024 that customers are complaining of the very same issue — ordering the 6 pack and receiving 1. And that’s just the customers that bother writing a review. I even found where this has been happening going back as far as 2015 for this seller. Why hasn’t Amazon demanded the seller cease and decist this practice immediately?

I strongly suspect this isn’t the only product and/or seller that Amazon is allowing to use it’s distribution network to deceive and defraud its customers.

I signed up for a Hebrew course about Biblical studies and was very excited about it. The first four classes started out with the instructor not showing up for 15-20 minutes, and after four lessons, they claim they will not even issue a partial refund. After the initial lessons, the instructor failed to show up on the majority of occasions, and we are all being told we cannot receive a refund of any kind. This "business" preys on people who are looking to learn Biblical Hebrew, and they do not deliver on the promises from their end, and will refuse to issue even a partial refund. When you try to gain access to the organizations leadership, so you can email them, they will not respond and will leave you on hold without picking up. Please avoid this company and go through a more reputable one.
