- Milwaukee, WI, USA

Ordered from Amazon Market place advertised warehouse sale.

Was sent order - vague confirmation with scam email contact. Order processed from China to NOT my address but an unidentifiable Bronx NY address. Non valid email address:

[email protected]

- Hamlet, NC, USA

I placed an order on April 24th for a floral arrangement to be delivered to my wife’s work, with an additional payment to ensure it arrived before 1:00 PM that day. I received a confirmation number after completing the order on the website, but I never received a confirmation email. However, on April 29th—the expected delivery date—the flowers never arrived.

I called the company for assistance and was repeatedly put on hold, with the recorded message stating I was number 27 in line and the wait time would be 25-45 minutes. After finally speaking to a representative who seemed to have a foreign accent, I explained the issue and requested a refund, as the delivery was guaranteed to arrive before 1:00 PM. The representative abruptly hung up on me, and now I am unable to get in contact with anyone.

I signed up to see if I was eligible for Ozempic. They immediately stole $99 from me even though I ended up being not eligible for it. Then a month later I was charged $99 again even though having never received a prescription or any product at any point. Never consented to this at all.

- Virginia Beach, VA, USA

They wanted me to pay for keto vitamins that I purchased using a credit card ending in 5552. They wouldnt provide me any kind of invoice nor account number, They told me to call customer service at 877-205-7242 and that my shipment will be mailed on Saturday and my card billed.

- Phoenix, AZ, USA

I typed into Google to renew my passport and this was the top link.

- New York, NY, USA

I do not recommend Path Social.

I canceled my subscription in January 2025, yet they continued to charge my account without authorization. Despite multiple attempts to contact their support team, I was refused a refund.

The service itself was extremely disappointing — the followers they provided were fake and did not offer any real engagement, completely misrepresenting what they advertise.

Their customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, refusing to take accountability or resolve the issue.

I am now pursuing a chargeback through my bank and filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Save your money and avoid Path Social — the service is misleading, and the company does not operate ethically.

- Kokomo, IN, USA

This was an order for Big Lots for their going out of business sale. Basically the same as the Joann Fabric scam.

- Branford, CT, USA

Ordered jacket 4/15/25 total came to $23.95. Got email confirmations order placed and received then email order in transit Kept updating in transit. On 4/27/25 addl $29.99 without me knowing taken out of credit card without my permission. Contacted cr card company gotta call back once $29.99 clears and report the fraud. I saved emails for proof

- North Berwick, ME, USA

I was Google shopping for a particular power drill, and this was one of the choices. The website appeared as Costco, so I placed the order. I immediately received a texted fraud alert, confirming that the charge was legitimate. I soon foolishly responded “yes”, and instantly regretted it. I never received a confirmation, and I am out 49 bucks. I did, however, called the fraud alert company and told them to disable my debit card.

- Tolar, TX, USA

I ordered several dog shirts. I received an email stating that the package was delivered. I emailed them back to let them know i hadn't received it. They emailed me and said they would send it again. Same thing happened again. I emailed them to let them know. The said they would refund my money. 10 emails later and still no luck receiving my money.

- Corona, CA, USA

Company uses many different but similar names. When you buy a single item, you’re automatically signed up for a membership & $29.99/mth with no notice whatsoever that your signing up for a membership. My credit card caught the fraud, didn’t pay the fee, sent me a new card and advised me to call Cedar and Ash and demand to be removed from the membership database. I hope it worked but I’ll only find out the hard way if it did not.

- San Angelo, TX, USA

I received a text from my bank asking if I authorized a payment to Sharonkendr. I'm not sure what this is. My bank locked my card till I can get another one

- Elk Grove, CA, USA

I had googled an item I wanted to buy,and several possibilities popped up,but the best price was at what I thought was Costco. So I clicked on the popup instead of entering Costco in the search engine. Big mistake. As soon as I ordered,I realized they didn't ask me for my membership number,or send me a confirmation email. I looked at the page closer that I ordered from, and at the bottom it said Costco with another word that started with an S,which I can't remember. So all the alarm bells went off.I looked at my account, and sure enough, the money had been withdrawn, but not by Costco..it was YSP Mystic Soul Hong Kong..so I knew I had been scammed. Immediately called my bank, and reported it,and closed down my card before they could steal anything else. I don't know why people would use their time and energy to cheat and steal from people instead of doing something good with their lives! Beware!

- Georgetown, SC, USA

Advertising pilates equipment for $29.95. And never delivering the product. When dispute with bank the bank said they find no findings.

- Belle Plaine, IA, USA

I came across a Facebook advertisement for what appeared to be a small, U. S. based business, listed as Heylyou Boutique. I purchased 7 items using a payment plan with PayPal. I received 1 item of extremely poor quality and what looked like just a cheap attempt at somewhat resembling what was advertised about a month after ordering. The packaging was generic with a return address name not matching the business name. After another month, maybe even 2 months, I submitted a dispute with PayPal. They identified the seller as “Missnia” based out of China. Before they would issue any kind of refund, they wanted me to return the 1 item. Stating the cost ineffectiveness of returning an item all the way to China, I tried to compromise and ask only for a refund of the 6/7 items I never received. Because I didn’t provide a shipping tracking number, they sided with the seller. I escalated the dispute to a claim, stating that the seller never refunded the other items. Since the “boutique” can say they technically shipped my order, even though it was only one crap shirt out of a 7 item order, PayPal yet again sided with this shady Chinese scam. I plan to continue escalating my claim, despite PayPal’s policy of never reopening a closed case. This is a case of deception and theft. For PayPal to side with an obvious fraud is completely unethical.

- Winfield, MO, USA

Was hey dudes on sell paid for them never r3cieved them.

- Appleton, WI, USA

I ordered shoes, Dansko, on 3/29/25. I got email info to acknowledge order; and package shipped 24 hrs later on 3/30. Tracking data indicates pkg delivered to porch on 4/18 via USPS; package not received; my acct was billed for the money.

- West Springfield, MA, USA

It was an advertising to take a survey and get a toolbox for $9.95. they charged 98.75 and 14.95

Paid but item never arrived. *********!

- Waverly, TN, USA

I clicked on an email from biglots (I thought) , it was biglots deals which is not affiliated with biglots. I looked up biglots where it said they were closing and were having sales so I assumed it had to be true. I ordered, and even got a confirmation email, no delivery date just pics of my order and amount, than it says click here to view order which doesn't take me to my order just back to the website , so I click on the customer service email, and it does not exist , I cannot get in contact with anyone from there. So I looked up big lots and emailed them which they than confirmed that they are not affiliated and they don't do online orders anymore. I never received , any goods from them or any other contact. I've disputed with cash app which keeps denying me, with no proof of there contacts. So Biglots deals is a scam .
