Online Purchase Reports & Reviews – Page 173 (3635)

I got an ad in my Instagram feed for a nice shoe rack. Reviews from the company looked good, even after a couple weeks. I ordered a shoe rack for $47.98. I didn't get a confirmation email, which I thought was strange; according to their website, they are in America (note: I cannot find their website now). After a couple days, I emailed them, asking for an ETA for my package. The response I got was that COVID was delaying things but I was given a tracking number. About three days later, I received a cheap plastic bracelet, shipped under the same tracking number as my shoe organizer was supposedly under. I immediately emailed them, informing them of the mix up. I was told, yes, the warehouse sent the wrong item. The bracelet, they claimed, was worth $100 (no possible way) and I could keep it without having to pay the difference. They sent me a link to a different website entirely, with a photo of some other bracelet (this is not what I received) : https://www.mowou.com/products/ocean-collection.-purple-pearl-bracelet .I responded that, no, this was their mistake and they needed to fix it. I have gone back and forth with "support," who say I can keep the bracelet and get a 30%, 40%, and most recently 50% refund. This would still mean I paid $24 for a cheap piece of plastic. I can't get more info on this company, like where they're actually based or even a fake address. I wish I could get my money back, since this is clearly a scam, but I can't get enough info to file a proper claim with ScamPulse.com (there is on record of a business called Cynthian London and I have no zip code to work with).

Purchased a suit on this website, received confirmation email, everything seemed normal. The next day, I received an email that my items were shipped and the USPS tracking number. I tracked the package to see where it was coming from and it said “Shipping Label Created” in Jamaica, NY. 12 days later, it still says the same thing. No one will reply to the support email address. They are scamming people out of money thinking they are buying clothes. Despicable.

Ordered a product and it was suppose to be delivered within 48 hours. It never shipped and I got at text this morning from UPS and the site looked very real and they said they tried to deliver my package and no one was home to sign and they were holding it in their warehouse and if I didn't come they would send it back. I clicked to reschedule and they ask for a "storage fee" I gave them my credit card info, phone number and address. I realize that afterwards it was a scam and the shipping was through DHL.

I hope no one else falls for this scam.

On 10/04/2022, I posted a computer peripheral for sale. On 10/25, I received a Facebook message from 'Anna Gamm' asking if the device was still available, to which I responded that it was. I explained that, due to my wife and I recently having moved into our new home, the device was packed in one of over 100 boxes. I suggested waiting until the following day when I had time to find the device. The following day, 10/26, Anna sent me an SMS text message asking if she could pick up the device. I explained that I had not yet found the device. She claimed that, for her safety, she would send me a Google 6-digit verification code to confirm I was a real seller. She sent the code and I responded with the six digits I received. She responded saying that there was a verification problem with my cell number. She asked if I had another cell number I could give her, to which I said no. She said, "Okay fine". That's when I became suspicious and Googled '6 digit verification code'. The list of possible sites included one that explained how this code was being used as part of a scam. Maybe I shouldn't admit to this, but being angry and frustrated, I sent her a follow-up text using some unsavory language. I blocked her phone number and blocked her on Facebook.

NOTE: There are several Anna Gamms on Facebook. The one I was interacting with has blonde hair and she appeared to be in her mid to late 30s in her profile picture. I was able to determine this by clicking the link that was included in her initial contact with me via Facebook Messenger.

Starscope. Monoscope. Over 30 days, fake tracking #. Excuse after excuse. I spent about $125.00. Ordered over a month ago. Has not shipped yet.

Ordered product, never received. Even though did not pay with paypal, some how may paypal account got comprised.

I paid with my credit card and the transaction was flagged immediately and I was sent a new card, and protected. Then credit card company got transaction confirmed by merchant and I was responsible for payment. The website for the merchant no longer exists so I'm not sure how the transaction "checked out". If you check tracking information- it went to a different address.

The shipping tracking confirmation came from a paypal email.

I saw the ad for a small projector to view movies or whatever on the phone onto a larger screen. The product showed for about 20dollwrs on sale. I made the purchase it has now been 3 weeks the site was very limited on information. There was one contact a email that I emailed repeatedly just to hear nothing back. No conformation on sale or anything. So I counted that as a scam. Today October 25th 2022 the site is down. It has been a month now. So if it's too good it probably is. Amd only did the sale because it wasn't too much. But no one should be ripped off.

Their website advertised 209 primers in stock. Primers and ammo are both scare so I was skeptical but website looked legit. I paid $125 to get some #209 primers. The company didn’t ship when they said so I called several times and never could get anyone. They only interact through chat. Today they sent me an email saying my shipment left their building but I have to pay Sky Express another $100 to deliver it after I already paid $45 for overnight shipping.

It appears this logistics company is part of their scheme.

Please do something to get this website flagged as I’m sure they are scamming people left and right.

I was looking to buy a Newfoundland puppy and this site promised me so much and I realized before I was scammed they were a fake but I don’t want others to be hurt. Their site is cut and pasted info including mentioning their old scam name in body of content of Augustine Newfie. They refused to speak with me and all contact was auto generated with no real substance. They wanted 800 for a dog that wasn’t real. I have had 3 of these dogs so I was worried it wasn’t real but I am fearing so many others will send them money and never receive a dog.

Was going to order some box from green box usa but they say they've refunded me on the 9th and still have not got refunded and Bank tells me it's their end

https://www.hokaonestore.ca/ - ordered a pair of shoes thinking it was the Canadian equivalent and never received a confirmation, which was my first clue. As well, the payment went through with another language. When I went to the contact page there was just a form to fill out, no contact address or phone, so I knew I had been scammed. Amount on my card is $30 higher than purchase. Cancelled my card right away and now waiting to address the charge on my card.

I ordered a product on their website, I did receive what I thought was a legitmate order confrmation; however, a week went by and no contact from them. I sent one email per day inquiring about my order; but no response and then I pulled their phone number from the website. The phone number is a personal cell phone with not voicemail. Everytime I called I was sent to voicemail after two rings. I then had my bank file a fraud claim to get my money back.

I clicked a sponsored add on Instagram for a Halloween mask. Site looked legit but it turns out the tracking numbers are fake and the contact us email doesn't work.

Put item for sale on fb marketplace. Someone said they wanted to call me they were really interested. Then they ask to send a verification code and I sent it without reading the message. Just sent the code then they said my number doesn’t work to send another number. I don’t use google voice.

This website is a SCAM. They are taking thousands of dollars from people who place an order on their website. The products are never delivered to the customer. They just keep your money. If you cancel an order and request a refund they will delay it and keep telling you "accounting will look at it shortly" but never do nothing. They will do this for months!!! All their products show in stock on their website but once you place an order, all of a sudden they tell you its backed order. STAY AWAY from this company!!!!

Vickman contruction is the worse company .They can performance the job and hire the street guys to work .the owner try to performance but not successful .clients can not get the job done and they scam to take a ton of money and scared off people to ripping people off money due to the contract not do as the same .I am high recommend to people stay away there company not be a victim again specially old peole they may try to target to collect money for there living .they took 11 thousands can not performance the job done keep ask more money and more each time .

Purchased a rare bottle of whiskey from Bourbon-net.com and I should have known by them insisting payment by cashapp or venmo.

They are setup to respond when you ask questions, but ultimately never resolve anything. Clearly an overseas outfit that takes cash then does not deliver any items.

Pre ordered items. They didn’t ship. They said it has been 6 months (but the ship date of pre-order was more than 6 months) and refused refund. When dispute was filled with credit card company…they mailed a fraudulent box with a tracking number to avoid charge back. Then they consider any questioning or negative comments an instant ’voiding of your purchase’.

I saw a deal that was too good to be true through a user group that I trusted. I pursued the purchase and red flags came up. I tried using goods and services to protect myself but I should have known better. Hopefully it can be resolved still but if something looks too good to be true it is.
