This company induces you to buy their products on a subscription basis, but makes it as difficult as possible to cancel the subscription. I was ultimately able to do it by highlighting the text on my screen to find text and a hyperlink that is the same white color as the background. So the only way to cancel an ongoing forever subscription is to find hyperlinks that are invisible to the naked eye buy highlighting the text through repeated screens until ultimately the product can be cancelled. The customer service phone number is out of order. They are deliberately making it nearly impossible to cancel a subscription once you've bought a product one time.

Originally paid .99 to send fax. Then was later charged 19.95

- Columbia, TN, USA • Oct 20, 2025

It is a neurodrop supplement. I received an order. I didnt choose it to be monthly but they keep charging me every month. I didnt see it. When i emailed they said i didnt cancel order. But i never chose a subscription monthly.

- Kirkville, NY, USA • Oct 16, 2025

This company will continue to charge your account but won't send the product id you don't press accept on the previous month shipment. I cancelled August 24 or 25th and I am still being charged in October. They told me in the email from August that it was cancelled and I would not be receiving any more product or charges.

My mother purchased a shirt 1.5 years ago from this company. Then, this reoccurring charge for $8.92 appears every few days and I cannot find a way to cancel this.

- Meeker, CO, USA

I was first made aware of the company by a sponsored ad on Facebook for magnetic lashes. I made a one-time purchase of their product for $38.86. After this initial purchase, I never received any confirmation of purchase, receipt or tracking number. The product eventually arrived over 6 weeks later at which time the company had apparently then signed me up for a recurring monthly subscription. At no time did I knowingly choose the recurring subscription option. I have emailed the company via the only email address you can find on three different occasions, demanding that the subscription be stopped immediately. I have received no response. The receipt emails that continue to come through state that you can edit your subscription details via an online account that I never set up, however I have been unable to access my information online to terminate it. I have not been able to find a working phone number to contact the company at.

- Castle Rock, CO, USA

I purchased an initial order for health care supplements and this "company" is now automatically charging my card and saying they are sending more products that "I subscribed for" which I did NOT. Its a total scam and they are using public figures such as Dr. Barbara O'Neill to scam people.

Ordered 1 time, now I find out that it's a recurring subscription and now need to call my bank to stop it !

- Loveland, CO, USA

Like so many others on BBB, I was angered to see a $45 fee on top of the "advertised" $5 fee to get a question answered. Perhaps it was stated in the terms of service, but with the "advertised" $5 fee, I did not think to look for hidden charges. I searched their website and saw nothing regarding refunds. I cancelled immediately. They confirmed via email, stating that my membership (which I do not need or want) would be good for a month. Live and learn, but I'm a bit too old to not have learned this already.

- East Meadow, NY, USA

Allure de Paris items posted on online and Fb. They automatically charge 29.99 $ monthly VIP membership fee without customer knowledge. Many customers are affected by this illegal act. My credit card company informed me.

- Medina, WA, USA

They will charge you $1 for a silly online iq test, but will relentlessly charge you $29.99 after the fact. My credit card luckily blocked the transaction but they have tried 5 times in two weeks already. Others might be as lucky. This is a blatant scam!!!

- Gillette, WY, USA

I bought 2 necklaces totaling 18.95 in November. They then continued to withdraw money each month. 22.95 in December, 22.95 in January and 29.95 in February. I didn't notice it until 2/18/25 I did not authorize money or receive any other products

- Apollo Beach, FL, USA

On a whim, I decided to take an IQ test after seeing an ad online. I knew that to see the results, one would need to pay $0.99 for a 7-day trial. After taking the test, I decided that I would pay for the 7-day trial to see the results. After doing that, the ChatBot kept offering "deals" to extend beyond the 7 days - each of which I rejected. I then closed the ChatBot, assuming all was in order. I received the email with my results; and I then received a second email, congratulating me on "upgrading" my subscription-which I had never agreed to. After this, I got in touch with their "ChatBot" again; and I repeated that I had signed up for a 7-day trial-ONLY. Following this, I was contacted by my bank, advising that Cerebrum IQ had debited my account for the $0.99, as well as 2 debits for $19.99 each - a total of $39.98. I have since sent a message to the email address their communications came from, explaining that I am expecting a refund of the $39.98 they have stolen from me (of course, not expecting that to ever happen). I also stated that I would report this situation to every "scam-reporting" site I could find. Additionally, I have since learned that their address has received dozens of scam complaints - not only on Cerebrum IQ, but many other businesses. As I said, I'd be VERY surprised if they ever refunded anything to me, since they told me in an email that they "can't", but I do feel that I need to report them to possibly prevent others from falling to their scam.

It was an ad about learning your love languages. It said it was a service to help you learn how to communicate with your partner better and learn your own love languages and such. I thought the trial of $0.99 was reasonable and safe enough. It kept asking if I wanted to "upgrade" and I kept declining and opting for the trial. They charged me for the trial and an "upgrade". When attempting to get a refund for their unwanted unwarranted upcharge they only gave me the option of using a chatbot and asked 6 times after me asking to cancel service if I wanted to stay/upgrade. I believe this is clearly a money grabbing scheme and should be blocked from advertising.

- Watertown, SD, USA

I signed up for an IQ test for $.99. I had to sign up for a 7 day free trial to get my score. I tried many times to cancel before the free trial was up. I couldn't sign into my acct, I couldn't get help. I couldn't cancel through their links. I emailed them, I called them, I wrote them a letter. All unsuccessfully trying to cancel my account before the free trial was up. Finally through the advice of my credit card company, I cancelled my credit card to avoid future charges from Cerebrum IQ.

- Houston, TX, USA

I was on Instagram when I followed Cerebrum IQ, Inc and thought it was interesting to try out the quiz when I was prompted at the end for a .99 cent charge to view my results.

I’m reporting this so other people can beware of this Scam to lure you with a quiz then withhold results for a small fee of .99cents so they can then charge you not just .99 cents but also a $29.99 fee and hook you with a monthly subscription if your not paying attention. Thankfully I was paying attention and I saw the charge to my account immediately!

I did NOT authorize a transaction for $29.99 for a subscription for Cerebrum. I have a charge to my Paypal card ending in *3085 on Jan 24, 11:15am. The transaction id is: 98T3617230600931K.

I have taken action to report this to PayPal and to Instagram as well as report to the BBB. CerebrumIQ sent an automated reply finally stating they would reimburse me but that it would take 10 business days when it took literal seconds for them to take unauthorized funds from my account!

Think IQ academy is a scam website with shady practices buried in gross literature. They will provide a "free" IQ test with being able to see the results for 1 USD. Even if you click no to their recurring 30 dollar subscription they will still charge you repeatedly. This is due to (once again) shady business practices denoted only by the asterisk next to the one dollar option. Please see a licensed psychologist if you'd like to know any Iq related topics I did this just for fun and now it's anything but that. There is no "easy" way to cancel your subscription and comments on forums saying there is are paid accounts meant to redirect you back to the website so you look in vain to cancel but only give them more web traffic and site time. This business is an affront to the pursuit of intellectual accumulation and a partner in crime to the decreasing validity of actual licensed tests and highly complicit in deteriorating the trust the public gives when they seek to receive such services. Do not purchase anything from this company, they will steal your cc information, they will steal your personal information, they will steal your peace of mind.

- Pierce, NE, USA

This website claims to offer you a IQ score but when you click pay to pay $0.99 plus $19.99/month after the first week, they have no way of accessing their help center or your account to cancel your subscription. Also their help email account claims there is no account with your email and offer no assistance to cancel.

- Sandy, UT, USA

Placed an order with Kratos Organics on 11/20/2024 for $44, received an email confirmation stating the order was received. Waited 10-15 days for delivery yet nothing arrived.

Checked the status of my order and it's sitting waiting to be prepared. Shortly after (December) my card was charged $29 for "subscription/membership", still never received any order.

Sent an email to both [email protected] & [email protected] on 12/21/2024 and 12/27/2024 asking for a refund with cancelation.

During this time a phone call was made to 801.899.9743 on 12/21/2024 at 4:27 pm MST and got "the Google subscriber you called is not available."

Went to their website www.kratosorganics.com and filled out the Membership Cancelation form that's provided. Never received any communication back from either email or a cancellation confirmation.

On January 2nd 2025 my card was charged again for another $29, didn't notice the new charge until January 9th 2025.

Due to frustration of multiple charges, lack of communication, no products received I disputed the charges with my bank and had a new card issued on 1/9/2025.

- Omaha, NE, USA

Pop up and offered free sample. Elderly man signed up for it and then received a shipment and was enrolled in repeat delivery and charged $239.99 on credit card.
