Cerebrum advertised on Facebook a test to test you IQ. I took the IQ test it charged .99 to take it. Then the site asked about signing up for subscription. At that time, i closed the window. I was charged a week later 14.99 and today another week later another 14.99.

I emailed them a day after the IQ test letting them know i never resceived the results and no response. I found the email with the results and read that get signed up for a week of free app and then will be automatically charged. I emailed several times to try to cancel the subscription through the merchant but they just kept saying theres no account with my email. I emailed them fro..my other emails a d same answer was given. I laid the .99 through paypal to be safe from fraud but its worse because they want you to dispute the charge with the merchant. But if the merchant wont cancel the subscription what am i supposed to do? Keep paying the 14.99 every week. My bank wont stop the payment because it is going to paypal then to merchant. Paypal wont dispute it bacuase they want you to contact merchant.

Complaint Against FaceGoBot (TrainerChatBot LLC) - Face Yoga method by Jenya Baglyk

Dear Better Business Bureau,

I am filing a complaint against TrainerChatBot LLC, operating as FaceGoBot. I purchased a promotional product for €9. One week later, the company charged €129 for an annual subscription to a course that I never agreed to.

The company claims that this charge was part of a "trial period" agreement, requiring cancellation within 7 days. However, I pressed no for all additional offerts and they say I had left already signed for the company (without changing their option) in a " blue box" for this trial I have never seen in the moment of the purchase. Additionally, the company advertises a 14-day money-back guarantee in their marketing materials but refuses to provide refunds when requested.

This practice is misleading and fraudulent. Consumers are being charged without informed consent, and refund policies are not being honored.

Company Details:

Company Name: TrainerChatBot LLC (FaceGoBot)

Address: 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, WY, 82801

Email: [email protected]

Phone: +1 619-396-2402

I kindly request the ScamPulse.com to assist me in obtaining a full refund and to hold this company accountable for their deceptive practices, as well as warn other people to avoid new frauds.

for warning other customers:

I strongly warn others to avoid FaceGoBot (TrainerChatBot LLC). My experience has been frustrating and deeply concerning.

Here’s what happened:

I purchased a $9 product via a Facebook advertisement. During the checkout process, I explicitly declined all additional offers, including a subscription or "free trial."

Six days later, the company charged me $129 for a subscription I never agreed to. They claim I left a "blue check mark" agreeing to this charge, but this is entirely false.

Despite their promise of a 14-day money-back guarantee on their website, they refuse to issue a full refund and instead offered me only 50%.

Their responses have been manipulative, falsely accusing me of agreeing to their terms, which were neither transparent nor clearly disclosed. This is a clear case of unauthorized billing and deceptive marketing practices.

I have filed complaints with consumer protection organizations in France (DGCCRF), the EU (ECC-Net), and the US (FTC and CFPB). Their behavior violates consumer protection laws in multiple jurisdictions.

Avoid this company at all costs. They engage in dishonest practices, make unauthorized charges, and refuse to honor their own refund policies.

I made a one time purchase of a product but was then charged a subscription fee about two weeks later. Its crazy how buying a physical item would also opt you in a subscription. Imagine if amazon did that

They advertised for a trial for a week for 99 cents then when you accept it they start offering you other things to take the trial instead of the side and get an upgrade for some other stuff I skipped what I thought I was skipping everything and I guess they're saying I didn't but this I've seen happen to numerous people out there I actually just found a complaint on your site saying that these people have done this they are ruthless and obviously they are praying on people that have limited to fix income and want to continue to keep their smarts but instead we got scammed they treat us like pieces of not very nice stuff! My credit card company is looking into it but I don't know if they're going to find them at both it's just bogus how they can do this they ask so many questions and they keep on asking and asking and asking that eventually it gets confusing! And it's just as bad when you decide that you want to close your membership with them they ask you and keep on offering you things all the way down to $3 but it's about 10 questions that they give you offers before they let you even quit

They offered a trial for $.99 but when i clicked on the button to begin trial, it automatically subscribed me and took the funds, including the .99 trial amount immediately out of my account. The response i got when i emailed, which took forever to find, they said they could tell that i meant to do it. The way the website is set up is intentionally set up to be deceptive.

They offerred a $19 cleaning trial. There were no cleaners available in my area. Then they charged me for a membership I didn't agree to. To cancel it cost $227!! There's no phone number or address. Emails I sent to describe the problem to were replied to in a form letter. This is FRAUD. Paying for a service that doesn't exist...bad news for me! I'm a breast cancer patient who just wanted to try and get some help that never came.

This website claims a single charge of $4.99 for a vehicle report, but then automatically charges $29.99 monthly “subscription fee” without consent, or ways to cancel the recurring charges. There is a “login” page, but no way to make an account within the website, making it impossible to cancel any unauthorized charges. I have sent an email to the one listed on the website in regards to the charges, but have received no response.

Was stated an IQ test was for a dollar. Same time they charged 1.00 and another charge for 30.00. We have called 9 times each time they say they are sorry will escalate it and return it. First call said takes 30 days. After 30 plus days I called they say 5-7 business days. This has been going on for almost 3 months

She paid 14.90. Waited two weeks and contacted the company only after she seen they charged her an additional 34.99 subscription fee. Whereas she hasn't even received the product in the first place. So then it became a game of cat and mouse with emails for a month until finally they quit responding all together and won't even respond back about a refund or the purchase! Half the products they had on website are now missing from the forum including what she purchased so now she questions whether it was real. Been crazy all from FACEBOOK!

A company name cerebrum IQ attempts to take out $20 to three times a week if $20 don't go through they try $10 if that doesn't go through, they try one dollar

- Montgomery, AL, USA • Oct 31, 2024

They state that there is a membership stated when I made a purchase which mustve been hidden if it was. I noticed charges on my account. Reported to my bank and then decided to google it and contact them. Very misleading.

I purchased the $1 vehicle report. Now I've had two attempts to charge me $29.99 for a subscription I never signed up for. Thankfully I used a digital wallet that I don't keep loaded, so I haven't lost money. But I want this scam shut down and for it to stop trying to charge me

I signed up for the trial, and if I did not cancel before the seven days I would be charged weekly. It shows that you can cancel in the chatbot, but it will not let you and keeps stating to log in and go to the chatbot to cancel, it just keeps looping.

I received several messages that they would not provide a refund, so I looked them up on the ScamPulse.com website and saw 5 complaints for the same thing. This is an EXTREMELY DECEPTIVE website on Facebook, and it advertises a .99-cent trial but deceives you and cons you into a subscription. I sent a message to cancel and have not received a response. I used PayPal to pay the trial fee of .99 cents. Because they refused to provide a refund, I disputed it with PayPal, and they did provide a refund. Once PayPal sent them the dispute, they provided a refund. It is a good idea to use PayPal for transactions like this.
