It was attached to a sheet with a backing that looked like a check in the amount of $199.
The postage was printed on the envelope as US Postage Paid Permit No. 1535
The letter states: “This is to inform you about an important matter regarding the property [my address] secured by your current lender which is American Home Mortgage Corp. We reserve the right to revoke associated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice.
Please call IMMEDIATELY as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU 1-800-209-5527.”
There were also hours of operation from Mon-Fri 8am-9pm CT.
Underneath the check it says “not affiliated with American Home Mortgage Corp. and THIS IS NOT A CHECK.”
