Type of a scam Online Purchase

This is deceptive marketing on the internet which I categorize as "scamming": Mood Tech PLC advertises its products online using Dr. Ben Carson to ensnare customers to try their "free trial period" with only paying a $6.94 shipping charge. This shipping charge also is a means to get the customer's credit card information. Then, without informing the customer in either their upfront online advertisement or by notifying the customer, they quickly attempt to charge the customer's credit card for another very expensive shipment of their product -- a shipment was never received. I did receive the sample product and my credit card was charged (and I paid) the $6.94 shipping fee. I never used the product. The charge on my credit card statement showed a website of CMRBRAINBOOSTER.COM and a phone number of 833-226-3372, followed by the letters "FL" (which indicates the state of Florida). When I went to this website it shows contacts as CMR Tech Brand, LLC, 201 East 5th - Ste 950, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801 with customer service at (833) 226-3372, and an email of [email protected]. None of this matched the information on the online advertisement or on the business names shown on the product, Nootropic Technologies and Mood Tech, LLC.

Within a very short time this deceptive business, which clearly uses many different names, attempted to charge my credit card again. My credit card company, obviously, had already experienced problems with unauthorized charges from this business as, thankfully, the credit card company contacted me and asked if these were authorized charges. My response was this is NOT an authorized charge and they should reject/refuse the charge.

Hopefully, this report to ScamPulse.com will serve to warn other possible customers. File a complaint with the Attorney General in the states where this business shows business addresses.
