Maynard Havanese breeders accepted our payment for three puppies, including price of shipping. One day before their shipping date, they requested an additional 3,000 dollars that was not listed on their website or contract claiming they needed this money for "pet insurance". When we suspected they were a scam and brought this to their attention, we kindly asked to have pictures of all three puppies sitting with a piece of paper that had our name on it. They could not provide this and when questioned furthur, provided a photoshopped photo of the puppies. Now that we have contacted them letting them know we know they are a scam and are going to take action, they have ceased all communication and refuse to answer our texts and phone calls.
