I applied to part time jobs on Indeed and received a text message about an admin job from one of the above numbers. I was told I was be paid well and work from home all i had to do was deposit a check and purchase work supplies with it. the man whose name was suspicious “Jason Dior” would not tell me his company name so i was hesitant from the beginning. he finally said the company is Valley Medical Company. Also, the duties of the job and supplies he wanted me to buy were inconsistent the several times he told me. first he said i’ll need an apple laptop then later said I need an HP laptop. I’m 95% sure he is trying to scam me. i wasn’t even interviewed for the position not even a phone interview. just immediate acceptance which was not normal. i recurved a check for $2950 and i am afraid i’m being scammed.
