IRS.USA-TaxID.com is a scam website posing as the IRS. They ask the exact same questions as the IRS so it saves you no time at all. They charge $249 for free service from IRS, but the number and name of company was wrong, They refused to take any responsibility and have all your information to scam.I did call the company to file a complaint and request a correction/ the representative responded that they "can't do anything about it and sorry for your experience" It will take a lot of time and efford to repair the damage.

Website say services (EIN and LLC) within 24 hours. Didn't get that. Apparently the name already existed so I provided 5 alternate names. 4 days later no response. 8 days later no response. I called their customer service and got a very nasty lady who hung up on me and terminated the call... no refund. No product. Was forced to goto my bank to declare a fraudulent transaction. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

The site is listed by a google ad as the first option to get a EIN number. They ask for all of your personal information and you pay $275 for an immediate tax id or $250 for next day. I did this 4 days ago and still have not received a number. I was also advised by a consultant that receiving you Tax is a free service through the IRS where you receive your tax id instantly. I think this site may be used to gather other peoples information.

I want to note that after I emailed them to cancel this transaction they responded immediately saying I would receive my refund back in 7-10 business days. I have also disputed this with my bank. I’m not sure how they are justifying the inflation of cost from $0 up to $275 and also not rendering the information needed within the time the website states.

Site behaves as it is an irs site. This site doesn’t clarify anywhere in the application process or payment process that it’s third party or what the amount breakdown is for. They charge 5 times the amount it should be. They claim that tax prep agents don’t show a breakdown for cost so they shouldn’t have to either. They’re ripping people off. It’s a huge scam.

This is a scam website posing as the IRS. They ask the exact same questions as the IRS so it saves you no time at all. You can file online with the IRS for an EIN and get it in under a minute for FREE, not for $250-280 that this SCAM charges.

The site looks EXACTLY like the irs.gov site. It's [censored]ing ridiculous. God dam it. I was an [censored] and submitted info an paid for nothing. Don't do the same. Avoid these pieces of human waste and do a better job at typing irs.gov. [censored], GOOGLE has these pieces of [censored] on the top of the search results. It's 10 ads before you even get to a legitimate site.
I literally thought I was on the IRS site

Fooled me with their official looking website - but something was off. I called their 800 number and asked for a physical address - they refused. I asked if I was speaking to an answering service and the operator replied, “yes”. Immediately called my bank to suspend the transaction. I then called credit reporting agencies to inform them of my compromised social security number. I would not trust these people.

I went on this website put in my info which I still don’t know if they can use or not. But then at the end it was a 200 something dollar fee. And I remembered the gut bank teller telling me it was free so I had to check it again the website to make sure it had to .gov at the end. So thank God I didn’t pay that fee. But I did put in my personal info. But usually official website they have to deal with the government and IRS always has a dot GOV at the end

I went online to apply for an EIN. During my search the first page that came up had IRS , and I clicked on it. I called the company and was told that this was the appropriate page and that the fee was $249. I was NEVER told that I could go directly onto the IRS page and it is free!

I did call the company to file a complaint and request a refund. That was unsuccessful! The representative might of been the most ignorant person and did not let me get a word in

I was looking to apply for an EIN. I was unaware they were free. I googled and this site was one of the first to show.

I clicked it after seeing the letters “irs” at the beginning of the url and did not notice I was on a third-party the site. The color scheme is very similar to the irs.gov website. I complete the application still not noticing that I was not on the actual IRS site, and paid $249 for my application still unaware that EINs were free. I received a generic confirmation email stating my order from this third party site and that was when I realized I was not on the government website that whole time.

I googled the company’s name and found these reviews: https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/irs-ein-application.com of people like me, fooled by this company and cheated out of money they did not need to spend. Then, in embarrassing disbelief, I found the official government website where a public announcement sat at the top of the page warning people to beware of companies that charge since EINs applications were a free service. I called my bank immediately and attempted to dispute the charge; however, it was pending and a dispute was not in their policy because the charge was authorized by me regardless it being a scam.

I completed the application on irs.gov in less than 10 minutes and received an EIN immediately; whereas, the scammer site charged $249 for a EIN that took 1-2 to process (as stated on their website). The application was identical including first and last name, SSN, address, and business information. I called them I told them I would like to cancel.

The lady on the other side of the phone said, “I will cancel your order and request a full refund. They may not give it to you since they already attempted to send your application over to the IRS but it was rejected. They might issue a partial refund and keep the rest as a processing fee of $75.” I thought, what process? It took me less than 10 minutes for free. So she cancelled my order and I received another generic email confirmation. My cancellation and refund request is “under review” and the bank transaction is still pending. The emails were not consistent and one is attached to this claim. One says I have been issued a refund, another one sent slightly after says the request is being reviewed.

This company has given me nothing but hell they charge bs $250 for a free service. I was told after fighting that they would refund me and cancel their phony EIN # then fight to keep my money after I file a dispute with my CC company. They cancel the ein # and I still don't have my money. Been over a month now and I'm still fighting for my money. They act like they work for the state and pay to have there website pop up on top so you think its the IRS. Stay away we need them taken down asap.

They appear and advertise as an IRS government agency that helps you get EIN numbers for companies. Starting companies. They get social security numbers, company business info, alot of personal info. They tell you that you have to pay 250 dollars per company. They take your money and you get ripped off. And a scammer has all your identification and business info. And they say they will send you confirmation emails. They do not. They take the money and you don't get anything.
