call received stated they were going to issue warrant for my arrest ... needed to call 845-213-1635. I called number they gave, with no caller id and it rang rang and then went to busy signal. Then called BBB.

I was called and told that police are on their way to pick me up from my home since I didn't report foreign transactions on my taxes. I knew all this to be untrue so I asked that the police come and pick me up at work. The person hung up without taking my work address.

They called and said I needed to call them today before they file a lawsuit. So I called, left a voicemail. They called back and the threats began. They said if I did not pay $500 today that my bank account would be seized and my license would be suspended and I would be arrested. Then I had to pay within 30 minutes or they would come arrest me. That they had traced my phone call and knew where I was. I finally hung up on them.

The scammer poses as an IRS agent and first verifies your name . Then they proceed to tell you that there is a lawsuit against you for back taxes that you knowingly did not pay and fraudulently or illegal did so. They give you a fake case number and agent name and ID , then proceed to read a drawn out statement asking you to agree to what they say you did . At times during the call I asked them to repeat themselves because i could not understand what they were saying because of their thick "Indian" or "Asian" accent and they became very rude and aggressive with the call . At this point I asked to speak to an senior officer that could help me understand what this is about and they hung up .

I received a phone call stating I was being pursued by the IRS by for back taxes I owed . And this person calling was a police officer threatening me with jail . They called the wrong person that morning . I turned the tables on them and called them back and threaten them with jail . They became very annoyed with me and would not answer my calls after 18 times. The callers where Indian ( India ) in origin . However I did ask questions on the initial call and they did have some of my personal information. Which is very threatening to me .

I was called on my cell phone from a random number 224-603-1937 Antioch, IL. They left a vm and asked for an immediate call back. I called back and the phone was immediately picked up and said IRS, I spoke with an individual introducing himself as Eugene Wilkinson badge # 90147. He asked me for my name, put me on hold and verified my address. He said there was an open case under my name. I said I lived there and he then asked me for my SS#. I said why do you need by Social and he hung up. I called back and this time I wasn't given a name or badge number and they asked for my name, verified my address and once again asked for my social, I asked why do you need my social and they hung up. Very evident that this was a scam, so I called back again, when they answered I said that this is very evident this is a scam, and that you should be ashamed of yourself and he laughed and hung up. All of the people that picked up the phone where of indian backgrounds and it was evident this was a call center, very busy and loud in the background.

They are calling to tell them they are under federal investigation with the IRS . Caller is stating his name is Officer Ryan Smith who would like a call back at phone number 206-314-3444 because he is on their side.

I picked up phone after my answering machine had answered phone call. Someone stating they were from the IRS said I owed money and I needed to call the number give immediately. It was so fast that I could not get the number and because I had picked up the phone it did not record. The person talking had an accent possibly Indian.

I've gotten got a phone call today from a nasty man who keeps calling me saying he's with the IRS. He wants me to pay $17,000.00. He asked me for my attorney's name because I would be arrested. He has a Middle Eastern accent. I thought it was real until I heard the dog barking in the background. He said I had till 4 o'clock to pay him $695.00. He had so much of my information, name, address, phone number, and drivers license number. I was so scared!

I got a voice mail from a man who told me to call back about tax evasion. I spoke to a man with a foreign accent, maybe Middle Eastern, he told me he was from the IRS. He said he was an office, and I had an outstanding balance. I said I could pay it out of my tax returns. He said he would contact the local sheriff and put out a warrant for my arrest. He said I should get an attorney. He asked for my address and phone number and I gave it to me. I told him I had no money, and he became rude.

I keep getting voicemails from somebody claiming to be the IRS telling me they are filing a court case against me. In their voicemail they do not name who they are filing against or explain what for. I am retired, and do not understand why I am getting these calls. I do not think they are legitimate.

Received a phone call by an automated speaker saying this was the IRS and I need to return a call within 24 hours before they sent the officials out to arrest me at my home or work address. They told me to call back this phone number that they called from and when I called it says this Google subscriber is unable to answer.

They called from the number above and I listen to a recorded message. The message is extremely scary and authoritative. It says you have to get in contact with them right away because the IRS says you are going to be arrested if you don’t. They mention again and again you have to call them right away you going to go to jail if you don’t there’s no way they can help you if you don’t call. When I called, they identify themselves as the IRS. I asked them are you actually working for the IRS. And the person I talk to Chyna stopped for a minute and then said yes. But it’s clearly not the IRS
