I received a recorded message this morning thru computer voice stating that the IRS was filing a lawsuit for not responding to letters ( I never received) in the last six months. when I returned the call using the prfix *67 so my number doesn't show I heard a very noisy background and the person hung up on me.

Man with thick foreign accent called on a Saturday morning claiming he worked for the IRS and we owed over $7,000 in taxes for the years 2012-2016. He wanted me to pay today so they didn’t seize my property, money, and other assets. I know I don’t owe the IRS money so I asked to speak with his supervisor and he hung up. I called the number back and they answered as Internal Revenue Services. I asked the person who answered the phone what their name was and who they worked for. They hung up.

I repeat (631) 228-7354. For more information before we download your case into the courthouse." When you call the number, they answer the phone as "IRS".

In 3 days, I received a call from "The IRS" above numbers, telling me there was serious fraud and infringements on my past tax returns. I would be subject to major fines and jail time if I do not call back immediately. Deep (possibly altered) mail voice left message. I did not respond or call back, blocked these 3 callers.

First time a person with an India accent answered and hung up, second time they answered he said his name was Frank, and tried to get personal information about me, he said he was looking for Michelle.

I called back and they answered the phone IRS can I help you. I told them I was reporting their number because they kept calling trying to scam money out of us. They promptly hung up .

I received a recorded phone call on my cell phone at 9:30 a.m. on 2/21/2018. The computerized automated message indicated that the IRS had four outstanding issues against me and that if I did not call 872-588-4106 that a warrant would be issued and the police would come and arrest me. Fortunately my standing with the IRS is good as I have not received any correspondence from them about any issues. That is why I am lodging this compliant.
