Robo message said that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. To get more information, I am to call them at 959-929-2353.

I have received this scam phone call twice in the past two months. The first time the left a message. The second time I took the call and heard a recording that the IRS would file a lawsuit against me and I must return the call. (the same message was left the first time). I have never returned the call.

recorded message informing me that I was going to be sued by the Federal Government and to call them so they could help me. Failure to do so would result in criminal charges.

Recorded call when I answered. Said from IRS - going to file suit against me. Was told to call the above number for info on my case file. Caller ID number was the same.  BBB said to report this kind of thing at a talk at *** *** *** Career Transition Group.

I have received this same call before. Ignored it last time too.

Received a phone call from Officer Johnson who said he is representing the IRS. He stated that I owed over $9,000 in back taxes. His I.D. # is IRM 54320 and the case file was CP25660. I told him that I was unaware that I owed any taxes. I asked him if he could send me a letter of explanation. He said that they have already sent me two letters that I have ignored. I have not received any letters.

I recd a ph call at 3:00 PM today & spoke w/Kevin Pais (badge no. 502338) who stated I had unpaid taxes from 2005 - 2010. The debt I owed was $5780 and I if it's not paid in 45 minutes the sheriff's dept would be knocking at my door and I would be arrested. If I didn't pay the $5780 I would be put in jail for 18 months and then would have to pay $9000 back. The IRS would also seize all of my assets and there was nothing he could do about it; I knew he was lying. Kevin was a foreigner and I could barely understand him.

They claimed Im in a lot of trouble with IRS, when I called them back , they swore & hung up phone

Was contacted by phone by someone claiming to be from the IRS stating I owed taxes from 2010. Threatened arrest and that my house would be taken. I spoke with three different people that provided their name and badge number and asked me to send money immediately. When I asked if I could go down to my local IRS office to pay they told me that was not allowed. The call came from Agoura Hills, CA.

- Appleton, WI, USA

Caller stated a lawsuit was being issued against me if I didn't pay back taxes asap.

They left me a message about tax fraud and said I needed to call them back at this number

This date, 27 May 2016, I received a voice message (10:43 a.m.), allegedly from the IRS. Voice message stated that the IRS was initiating a lawsuit against me. Further, the message stated that I should call the IRS at the number stated above (206) 823-3363. I called the number back, but there was no answer. On the second attempt, a non-American born individual stated that he would help me to resolve the problem and asked for my name. I asked the person for his name. He stated that his name was "David Smith." Jokingly, and fully realizing that this was a scam, I stated that we may have attended college together. I then stated that our conversation was being recorded. "Mr. Smith" stated "You ***!" and disconnected the call.

I have no pending financial obligations to the IRS.
