I recd a call May 11, 2016 & it was a recording that was left on my answering machine. The woman stated this is the IRS and we are informing you that you are being sued. Call back at 804 ASAP. I did not return the call -- I just returned from the hospital that day (the phone was ringing - but we heard the msg). We knew it was a scam cause we heard it on TV.

I recd a call last Thursday and a woman left a recording. She stated she was from the IRS and they were filing a suit against me because I owed some back taxes (did not say how much). Left the 208 number and instructed me to call back right away. I did not return the call.

On the phone, a recorded voice said that the IRS had an open case against me regarding taxes. I was told to call immediately 260 823 3824

voicemails we have received.......automated call asking to call back because the IRS is filing a lawsuit against us. we received two calls today, 6/1

Phone recorded message: "In court now. Before you get arrested call 407-749-6440. Call this number before you get arrested. Kindly call us back on our number as soon as possible. Our number is 407-749-6440. I repeat 407-749-6440."

I traced the number via email and it was from Kissimmee, Florida.

I called back the number and the person who answered said he was from the IRS and his name was Peter Parker like the name from Spider Man.

Final warning from IRS or a collection suit will be filed, call 941-960-9674 immediately.

I recd a call at 11:05 AM this morning and I spoke to a man who stated he was from the IRS and was trying to get in touch w/me because I owed money. They have been looking for me; then he hung up.

On 6-1-16 I received a recorded call from telephone number 509-233-4090 indicting that the IRS was going to file a lawsuit against me. I hung up, called my local BBB in Canton, Ohio and the representative suggested I report this scam online, so here it is. Thank you!

Jason Casrson, called an claimed that he is with the IRS. He said that they were about to file charges on me for backed taxes. I didn't give him anything but my address and then he hung up on me. So I used my daughters cell phone to call them and they answered and when I explained the situation they hung up on me again.

I received a phone call earlier this morning 5/31/16 and did not get to the phone in time to answer. When I got to the phone I saw a message was left. I listened to the message and it was a recorded female voice saying "THE REASON FOR THIS CALL IS TO INFORM YOU THAT A LAWSUIT HAS BEEN FILED AGAINST (the recording stops for a minute and then says) YOU by the IRS. For information concerning this lawsuit call 509-233-4152. I NEVER called them back because I figured it was a scam BUT EXACTLY one hour later the call came again from the same number.

Again, I did not answer it when I saw it was the same number. I feel like this is a scam especially since my name was not mentioned the only word they mentioned was "YOU". I am afraid that elderly people like myself will be scammed if this is not brought to news agencies in our area to warn them.

Robo msg saying we owe money on taxes and we need to contact them asap or they will be contacting the "cops". I called them back and they keep hanging up on me every time I bring up the fact the IRS only contacts ppl via mail with such issues. Have not given them any info about our family.

I was contacted by someone claiming to be from the IRS and they said I owed them money and if I didn't pay them someone would be at my door to collect within a few minutes. I responded with What is my name and they gave me the wrong name. The person (if you can classify them as such) Identified themselves as Alex Parker although he had an Indian accent

They said there was a complaint against me and this was a major issue and get in contact with them. They said that they were with the IRS. Their number was 206-400-6855 I called the number back and he told me I have an attitude problem and hung up on me. Threatening that he had called the police and the sheriff would be here shortly.

Called to say the IRS was going to sue because of back taxes.
