I am a veteran who is relocating to Fayetteville NC on Saturday, April 27 2019 from VA. I inquired about the below property March 9, via email received from John Watson who is the owner of property 700 Bellingham Way. Several Correspondence via email and text, my Internal instinct set in and certain concerns weren't being answered to my satisfaction. So application was done without ssn and lease was signed, now last 2 steps were the deposit of 1st month rent and security, when John Watson gave me his wife Desiree c. Rawlings account info and asked to only use money orders..my instinct went in overdrive. did a background check on property owner to find out the Watson/Rawlings were not the owners. i have not made him aware yet because i would like this investigated further and i pray this scammers are caught. the real owner of said property i was due to rent is owned by Andre and Tomoro Clark -Nance.

Farrer Norm is the name this person uses to scam people, he had a post on craiglist for a 2 bedroom 1 bath home which is now removed. He asked me to send the deposit because he is living in Wisconsin and he would send the keys later. A day after I send the money he asked for a month rent money. But because I told him I didn't have any money and asjed for my deposit back he stopped answering to my text messages
