Upon further contact and calling back, the victim was placed in contact with someone named “Anthony Rubio” who detailed that the victim had to pay a certain amount of funds before tomorrow as settlement, as the creditor would sue for the full amount of the alleged balance if they did not comply. An email containing aforementioned details on the case was sent to the victim’s email address. This email also included the victim’s full social security number and legal name, the alleged original creditor & case number, as well as details regarding their company at the top. Investigation into their company results in no substantial evidence that they are a legitimate company despite claiming they’ve been serving the population for 15+ years.
