I receive 10 or more calls per day from Oregon (usually Portland-area) phone numbers with an automated voice saying I am. It showing up on Google Voice search, instructing me to press 1 if I want to appear, 2 if I don’t want to, or to call this number if I want to be removed from the list. When I call, nothing happens. If I press 2, nothing happens. If I press 1, a very insistent sales person basically tells me I’m stupid repeatedly, refusing to get off the phone, no matter how many times I ask for my name, number, and business to be removed from their lists. Within an hour I receive the same call again. Regular customers can’t get through and every single client appointment is being interrupted by these calls.
