Received collection letter from attorney for parking fee
Received a false parking violation notice from a Colorado company
I received this letter at an address that isn't accurate, which includes pictures of my vehicle entering and exiting the Arboretum parking lot, the main lot, at the main entrance.
This company from Colorado states that I was parked on private property on March 20, 2026 at 720 Garland Road, Dallas, Texas, claiming that I was there illegally, and I need to pay them $97 within 30 days or I will be sent to debt collections.
I will also highlight that the address for the location is not existent.
This could also be FLOCK cameras that appear to be onsite at the Arboretum that are illegally taking photos of vehicles, pulling information without permission for visitors' license plates, and now sending letters to those visiting vehicles to attempt to receive $100 or more and threatening to send those visitors to a debt collector.
I have already reported this company to the City of Dallas and within the Arboretum.
Do you share this information with the Cleveland police department (which is where this parking lot is located) or BBB? Or, do I need to file a report with both of them? Please advise.
This company needs to be STOPPED.
I WILL NEVER PARK IN A LAZ LOT AGAIN NOR SHOULD ANYONE ELSE.
Fraudulent parking violation
Debt to Parking Revenue Recovery
This is a notice by mail. There was never a ticket anywhere on my car. The parking lot was not posted as to violation of parking after hours of 5:00.
I am not going to pay. I will be following up with authorities to see if this is indeed a ticket. This is the first notice I have received and I feel it is a scam.
I am providing to the scammer either tickets, the ones I still have, and credit card charges.
