I had to check all my cc's and bank accounts - I never authorized any of this. When you call the number you obviously are not talking to GeekSquad - they continually ask for your account number (which I would not give to them) but they kept asking. I only gave them the order number and/or confirmation number but they couldn't look that up. Gee, isn't that too bad. I got this same email last year, so they try this yearly. SCAM!

Long story short: I downloaded the software and it was able to take over my computer for about 30 seconds before I shut it down. I subsequently removed, reported and blocked the software: jpsupport.live. I then changed all my credit card and banking passwords. I am monitoring activity against the cards and accounts.
I believe they were trying to gather account numbers and log-in info on these accounts. I called these people back and they surprisingly answered. Told them I had reported them to the BBB, Consumer Reports and the FBI Fraud Division for phishing. They became very angry and tried to convince me they were legit. I asked why they had to use the software I downloaded to facilitate my refund, and they couldn't give me a straight answer.

He then tells me misunderstanding and he gave me a dispute # then asked if I had a Apple phone or Samsung? I said apple. He then told me to go to ap store and download anydesk.com I then asked his name and his badge # or clock number. He said his name was Roy Martin. I said really Roy Martin. Then I hung up. The invoice from the charge was very convincing. I should of checked bank first. But I remember seeing something on my phone after watching one of those infomercials between playing games and accidentally clicked and I saw something about geek squad. Then the next night I was playing my game and something popped up about books. I didn't buy or anything with the books tried to get out of site. so i cleared all info out, then continued playing my games, I think a lot of these scams are coming from playing games on devices, or Facebook. so many pop ups everywhere. and the games, want you to download other games then you can't get back to the game you were playing. It's all messed up. I don't want my name on any of this to the public. I just want to help get the scammers.
