Invoice from GEEK SQUAD for $349 to renew subscription. Called number provided to cancel. followed step-by-step instructions. Checked bank account (on-line) showed $349 pending payment. Scammer indicated I would have to follow prompts to add name, address, and refund amount. Indicated to put in $100 first to make sure it went through. $100 became $10,000. Showed up on bank account as credit??. (HOW DO THEY DO THIS?) Told me to go to my bank and withdraw $9,600 leaving $400 to cover subscription cost. (So many red flags!!) Bank showed no credit/deposits. Told scammer I wasn't able to fulfill request. End of story. $349 pending payment and $10,000 deposit no longer on bank statement. Lost nothing this time. Be aware of GEEK SQUAD scam. It's real!
