After requesting documentation, I received an email stating “ our role at this point is not to reissue prior documentation but to assist you in resolving this matter through a final settlement opportunity before the case proceeds further.” Red flag….they are required by law to provide evidence of the debt and collection attempts upon request by law.
on its face, the email looks fairly legitimate, however, the email addresses are suspect along with the identical case numbers, amounts and body of the email previously reported.
