I was excited to make a purchase on Figuresgear.com for a dress I had been looking for, but when I made the purchase through PayPal, I saw on the invoice the company was listed as “Nordstrom Rack” which I knew wasn’t where I made my purchase. Having already paid $30, I tried adding something else to the cart and taking it to PayPal to see what the invoice said, this time it was listed as Sephora. I knew it was fishy that the invoice listed a legitimate business name that wasn’t where I purchased, so I also looked through the FAQ section of the site where it said that if you did not receive a confirmation email (at this point it had been like half an hour since placing the order and I hadn’t received any email from the site itself) then the order wouldn’t be fulfilled. I contacted the company via their contact us page and haven’t received a response, though I obviously don’t expect one as I know I won’t be receiving my order.
