Fanatics Imposter Website Reports & Reviews (1)

- Reno, NV, USA

Somehow, I was directed to a trustworthy-looking website: (https://www.f1storeusasale.com/) which was promoting an 80% clearance sale. All merchandise was very high-definition and promoted illegally, using Names, Images and Likeness of Formula One drivers, as well as the F1 logo and numerous other logos, such as PayPal and Fanatics.

They were an imposter, which I only found out about when the checkout page didn't work (thankfully). I contacted the official F1 customer service, who assured me their Product ID's did not match, and that the website was in fact illegitimate. They used terms and copyright, proprietary to the actual F1 business.

This is highly predatory, and I am a shrewd 26 year old... So I am a pretty good judge of scams and online imposters. This is a highly skilled operation. It makes you believe, because the new season of F1 is nearing quickly, that their "partner" in Fanatics LLC is clearing out for the new 2025 merchandise (which just launched). It must be noted that F1 is not a United States company, but Fanatics is. This seemed to be the official "USA" store partner, which is why the differing URL was believable.
