I have recently received a series of texts from different numbers all asking me to click links to pay a highway toll, despite my not using a toll road. The texts have been increasingly threatening - but I have not clicked on links. The most recent is shows up as being from [email protected], telling me: "You have an upaid toll bill on your account. To avoid late fees, pay within 12 hours or the late fees will be increased and reported to the DMV." The link provided in this text (but I did not use) is: https://thetoll-roads-tollevasionqo.world/us
